2 In 2 Out

Hi everyone it’s been a while since the last 2 in 2 out, so a quick summary of my last article’s suggestions; Elia has been highly involved in all of Southampton’s games but didn’t manage to grab himself a goal or an assist, but I am going to keep faith in him and give him a few more games. My second suggestion of a player to bring into your clubs was Dwight Gayle who let me down completely as he also couldn’t even score or assist a goal…so let’s forget them as soon as possible. The two players I suggested you to take out, were Charlie Austin and Aaron Cresswell, as predicted Charlie Austin couldn’t score in that period of time and Aaron Cresswell did manage to keep a clean sheet away at Southampton, but that was it. Some pretty poor suggestions from me there, but hands up I’ll admit it and ensure that these next ones will bring you points, points and more points.

Let’s get on with it;

IN

Harry Kane (Spurs, Forward, 6.3m)

Yes, this is THE most predictable suggestion I will ever do, but I can’t emphasise enough how important it is to get the form striker into your team to gain points and also, avoid dropping points to the 45.5% of teams that have him. It’s inevitable that Kane will receive an England call up and will continue to score goals this season and with West Ham at home next for Spurs, there’s a good chance that he’ll be on the score sheet again. Although this is as obvious as you get, Harry Kane still only costs 6.3m which is an absolute bargain and will more than likely leave you spare money in the bank if you have the high percentage forwards up top in your team. Get this man in your team and you’re almost guaranteed to keep seeing green arrows every week.

Dame N’Doye (Hull, Forward, 5.5m)

From one of the most predictable suggestions to the complete opposite. When you look for players you need to make sure they’re cheap, going to play and have nice fixtures coming up and although this player is a risk, it could quite well be a risk worth taking. With only 0.2% of managers with Dame N’Doye in their teams and with Hull’s next fixtures being; QPR (H), Stoke (A), Sunderland (H) and Leicester (A), there is a great chance that Hull will score goals in these games and with N’Doye recently claiming a goal and assist against Aston Villa, he has shown that he has a Premier League goal in him. At only 5.5m this shouldn’t stretch the bank at all and if you’re feeling daring and fancy taking a risk that could pay off, this is definitely the one.

OUT

Stewart Downing (West Ham, Midfielder, 6.6m)

Stewart Downing has had an absolutely brilliant season so far and with 5 goals and 7 assists to his name you can understand why a huge 28.3% of managers have chosen him. But with no goal or assist in three games, Downing has slowed down and I can’t see him picking it up when you see that West Ham’s next three games are; Spurs (A), Crystal Palace (H) and Chelsea (H), three very difficult fixtures for Downing and in my opinion now is the perfect time to bring him out of your team and bring someone more effective in. Although Downing won’t bring you bundles of cash when you take him out, there still are other players out there that should be considered for the same sort of price such as; Jason Puncheon (5.6m) and Sadio Mane (6.6m). Hopefully Downing won’t score a hat-trick against Spurs now and make me look silly, but I just can’t see him producing much in the fixtures to come.

Romelu Lukaku (Everton, Forward, 8.8m)

Last season Lukaku bagged himself 15 goals, the season before he scored 17 goals but so far he’s only managed to score 7 goals in what has been a very poor season for himself and Everton. Everton haven’t been half as good as they was last season and Lukaku hasn’t hit form yet, he’s just been grabbing goals in dribs and drabs which is too unpredictable for a fantasy football manager. When 7% of managers STILL have this man in their teams and he’s worth 8.8m, it would be ridiculous to keep him when there are cheaper strikers out there that will score more goals… Harry Kane, Olivier Giroud and Danny Ings just to name a few. If you still have Lukaku in your team, take him out now!

Green arrows are bound to come if you take my advice, I’m confident on this one and it can’t get any worse than last time so just go for it! This season is passing by so quickly and you need to stay on top of your transfers and avoid dropping points, so go for it and take some of these suggestions into consideration.

Good luck!
