Differentials XI – Gameweek 20

The Differentials XI performed extremely well scoring a massive 54 points, being 17 above the average! This saw us climb up the rankings, but still not into the top 50% (which is the aim). Here is how the team looked:

Differentials XI

So firstly we can see that Green performed perfectly, scoring a massive 10 points. Alongside him we saw a clean sheet from Cissokho, whilst Mertesacker scored just 2 points and Rangel brought home nothing. A combined return from our defensive players of 19 points is relatively good!

In the middle of the park we saw the man of the week, Adam Lallana bring home a massive 16 points, whilst our captain, Samir Nasri, scored 10 points for the team. Bolasie, Barkley and Fer looked promising, but could only bring in 7 points between them.

Finally, our strikers flopped somewhat, only scoring 3 points between them.

So the changes:

Although we said we would get rid of Giroud, there isn’t any need now as he has dropped below the 5% marker (he didn’t feature when he was above 5%). So this week we haven’t made any transfers as the team looks okay, and we look to save the wildcard right until the end of the transfer window.

Here is how we line up:

Differentials XI

We have given Green a rest this week as we feel its only right to give him New Years Day off after last weeks performance, and this week it is up to Mignolet to hold the fort down, and with a game against Leicester City, surely he can do so? Right? In front of him we start Cissokho, Rangel and Trippier, who play; Crystal Palace, QPR and Newcastle. These fixtures aren’t too tough, so there is some hope of a possible clean sheet or two, but you never know…

In the middle of the park we are unchanged, and also leave the captaincy with Samir Nasri as he has another attractive fixture against Sunderland at home. Fer, Lallana, Barkley and Bolasie all have fixtures in which they could grab a goal or assist, with Leyroy Fer arguably having the toughest fixture against Swansea.

Finally up top we keep Benteke and Falcao who play Crystal Palace and Stoke City. Hopefully the two of them can do a little more than they did last week after their 3 point contribution.
