Differentials XI – Gameweek 37

The third and final double gameweek, for the 14/15 season, is here and we go into it with a better performance from the differentials, but still no green arrows – after 5 gameweeks without them!

Here’s how things went.

Differentials

So a nice change this week in the form of goals from both of our strikers, however a massive disappointment in midfield sees us once again fall below the average score. Once again only one clean sheet was picked up after three of our defenders and our goalkeeper all conceded at the weekend!

So with a double gameweek looming some transfers were definitely needed to give us a fighting chance this week, here’s what we went for!

IN: VAN AANHOLT / OUT: DANN: With a double gameweek for the Black Cats it was really a no brainer to bring in some representation at the back, especially this attacking full back.

IN: GOMEZ / OUT: PHILLIPS: Another Sunderland player comes into the side and one who is certainly in good form, returning 20 points in his last two games, hopefully more of the same this week.

So here’s this week’s team.

Differentials

Starting XI: Ospina (3.5%), Van Aanholt (3.9%), Vertonghen (1.9%), Schlupp (2.0%), Zouma (1.0%), Gomez (1.3%), Mane (1.5%), Ozil (4.3%), Van Persie (2.0%), Ings (4.3%), Defoe (2.0%).

Bench: Davis (1.8%), Lennon (0.9%), Herrara (3.0%), Lescott (3.8%).

So on paper the side looks extremely solid and actually has a great potential for this double gameweek.

The armband this week goes to Mesut Ozil who we have managed to keep as he is still under the 5% marker, luckily for us. We are hoping for a good performance from Sunderland over their two games as we have three of their lads in our side (one defender, one midfielder, one forward).

The bench cover this week is also very solid, although the eleven players fielded could all get minutes – especially now Chelsea are champions, Zouma has moved into the side. RVP was also training with United in the week and the prospect of facing his former club (Arsenal) is always a very exciting one so we shall see how that pans out!

Anyway you never know how things are going to go with FPL, thanks as always, good luck and see you next time!
