FPL DIFFERENTIALS XI – Draft Game-Week 1

We are delighted to announce that we will be running a Fantasy Premier League differentials team. The main objective of the FPL_Updates Differential XI is to select a squad that has under 5% ownership and give you an insight to players that could possibly give Fantasy Football managers an advantage.
Differential-GW1-Draft
Starting XI: Green (2.2%), Jones (4.2%), Walker (4.4%), Johnson (2.0%), Coutinho (4.3%), Arnautovic (2.8%), Snodgrass (2.5%), Lamela (2.6%), Pelle (4.0%), Wickham (2.3%), Zarate (1.2%)

Bench: Foster (4.6%), Tadic (1.8%), Coloccini (2.9%), Trippier (2.2%)

Goalkeeper:

Green – QPR and Green have an ideal start to the Fantasy Football season with some scope for possible clean sheets against Hull, Tottenham and Sunderland.

Defenders:

Walker – The Spurs right back is just coming back from injury after missing the World Cup and the latter stages of the league. Walker should be raring to go and is always a threat when he pushes forward.
Johnson – The Liverpool and England defender always likes to push up the field and may be able to get a goal or assist. However he does have a mistake in him, but at 2.0% ownership you can’t go wrong here.
Jones – Manchester United now have Louis van Gaal in charge of their ranks and one thing important in his team is the defence. The defensive side of United will be worked on by LvG, which hopefully will give Jones and Fantasy Football managers some extra clean sheets.

Midfielders:

Coutinho (c) – The Liverpool player is one of the hottest prospects and could have a very good season after his first full Premier League season.
Arnautovic – The Austrian is one of Stoke City’s best creative players and is one of the most underrated players in the premier league. With 4 goals and 10 assists last season, he should be one to watch this campaign.
Snodgrass – After moving from relegated Norwich City, the midfielder may feel he has a point to prove. His ability to hit the ball from a dead ball situation also makes him likely to grab the odd goal or assist.
Lamela – The Spurs player had a very poor introduction to the Premier League, only registering 1 assist in 6 appearances. However, the Argentinian has had a good start to pre-season and will want to prove his doubters wrong during this season.

Strikers:

Pelle – Graziano Pelle has joined Southampton on an £8 million transfer after scoring 23 goals in 28 games in the league last season with Feyenoord. If he starts hitting the back of the net, he will be a cracking differential at 4.0%.
Wickham – After a great end to last season and breaking into the Sunderland squad after being called back from loan, it is clear he was a vital part to Sunderland’s survival and will want to do the same this year too.
Zarate – This will be the Argentinian’s debut season in the premier league and could be one of the big differentials this season, as he was top scorer last season in the Argentine Primera División, bagging 18 goals in 28 games.

Captain – Coutinho has been given the armband for Game-week 1 as Liverpool’s opponents Southampton have lost a lot of their defensive structure over the summer. This being said, their replacements may also not have fully bonded and there could be quite a few goals in this fixture, of which Coutinho may be involved in.

Bench – Foster, Tadic, Trippier, and Coloccini will sit on the bench in GW1 but will feature in the following weeks.
