FPL Updates XI – Gameweek 38

So all good things come to an end, and unfortunately we see the final gameweek and the summer break approaching us a bit faster than we would have liked. But first of all let’s take a look at how we did last week. 54 points, being 8 above average, unfortunately saw us achieve some red arrows. Here is how the team looked:

FPL Updates

So this week we FINALLY got our keeper choice right, although saying that we couldn’t go wrong as both of our keepers kept clean sheets. 7 points from Kasper, and what a streak this man is on! In front of him we had van Aanholt smashing it with 15 points, whilst both McShane and Cahill did nothing, scoring a point each. We should have really played Duff who sat on the bench with a clean sheet against Stoke City.

In the middle of the park we saw both of our Arsenal midfielders blank, which was somewhat frustraiting as Sanchez was also our captain. With two fixtures last week many fantasy managers were hoping for big scores from the Gunners, but it was just not meant to be. Henderson and Hazard continued the trend and unfortunately blanked.

Finally up top it wasn’t much better as Giroud, Aguero and Kane only managed 11 points between them.

So onto the final week, and this week’s transfers:

Bolasie (IN) -> Cazorla (OUT)

Silva (IN) -> Hazard (OUT)

With Hazard most likely out injured this week, we have unfortunately had to remove him for the in form David Silva. We have also brought Bolasie in for Santi Cazorla, as he and Arsenal have a cup final coming up, so we are sure there will be some form of rotation in the ranks.

So here is how we line up:

FPL Updates

So to start the final line-up we have the main man, Kasper Schmeichel! With our luck Kasper will concede six against QPR and Myhill will keep a clean sheet against the Gunners! In front of him we start Cahill, Duff and Hutton who all have relatively good fixtures this week, so fingers crossed we get some luck on the final weekend of the season!

In the middle of the park we start the two new boys; Silva and Bolasie who both play at home against Southampton and Swansea respectively. Our other two that start are Sanchez and Henderson, whilst Cambiasso takes a seat on the bench.

Finally, up top we are unchanged playing the three players that have been at the forefront for a while now, being; Kane, Aguero and Giroud.

Best of luck to all of you in the final week. It’s been great having you come along with us on our debut season… Have a good summer break!
