Game-week 4 Preview

So the international break is nearly over and game-week 4 is on the horizon. It will undoubtably be another thrilling weekend of football, and will be crucial for many teams to try and grab a win. So here is what we expect for the upcoming fixtures:1

Arsenal Vs Manchester City

This game has all the makings of a potential thriller. Both teams will want to get the win and both should field attacking line-ups in order to achieve this. Manchester City have not lost in the Premier League against Arsenal in the last 4 games, and they will try to continue this unbeaten streak.

STAR MAN – Sergio AGUERO

The Argentinian striker has managed to score twice in 121 minutes so far this season, and we expect him to continue this sort of form against Arsenal.

2Chelsea Vs Swansea

Both teams come into this game in good form, with both teams having a 100% win streak, and unfortunately only one team can continue this. Both teams have been very attacking in their start to the season with 17 goals between them in their first 3 games.

STAR MAN – Diego COSTA

Injured or not, Costa will probably end up playing some part in the game, and it will most likely be an influential part at that! The new Chelsea forward has 4 goals in his opening 3 games and he will look to continue that tally in this fixture.

3Crystal Palace Vs Burnley

This could be a somewhat tight affair as Burnley could feel that this is one of the first games in which they could pick up some points after what has been a tough start to the season. Palace on the other hand will want to continue their good form after picking up 4 points out of a possible 9. Considering the Tony Pulis mishap and the fixtures they’ve had, they should be pleased with that.

STAR MAN – Wilfried ZAHA

Zaha has returned to Palace and will want to find the form he showed before he left for Manchester United. He played his first 21 minutes of the season against Newcastle and managed to score a goal. Hopefully for him and Palace, this sort of form will continue for the Englishman.

4Southampton Vs Newcastle

Southampton are unbeaten at home against Newcastle in the past 2 seasons and they will try to continue this record against Newcastle. The Magpies on the other hand will have to do without their hot, new signing of Siem de Jong after he has been ruled out for up to 2-3 months.

STAR MAN – Morgan SCHNEIDERLIN

After being links with a move away over the transfer window, Schneiderlin has hit the back of the net twice against West Ham and has shown impressive form so far this season. We expect this to continue here with the Frenchman potentially putting himself clearly in view in the shop window for January.

5Stoke Vs Leicester

Stoke face Leicester at home this game-week after their miraculous win against Manchester City. Leicester will look to pick up some more points after they only have 2 points to show, despite having performed very well against tough opposition.

STAR MAN – Leonardo ULLOA

Ulloa has scored twice in his first 3 Premier League matches and with Leicester putting in the performances they are, we should see more goals coming his way.

6Sunderland Vs Tottenham

Sunderland haven’t beaten Tottenham in their last eight Premier League fixtures, and we don’t expect to see this change as Tottenham have started the season very well, despite a blip against a strong looking Liverpool side.

STAR MAN – Christian ERIKSEN

The Danish international has had a quiet start to the season, but we don’t expect this to continue and we expect the form he had at the end of last season to return. Don’t knee-jerk just yet Eriksen owners as he is due some big points soon!

7West Brom Vs Everton

West Brom have had a slow start to the season with only 2 points out of a possible 9 and will be looking to cause an upset here against Everton. The Toffees on the other hand will want to bounce back from their 6-3 loss to Chelsea.

STAR MAN – Steven NAISMITH

Naismith is the joint highest scoring Fantasy Football striker so far this season with 3 goals in 3 games, and we don’t expect this form to change.

8Liverpool Vs Aston Villa

Liverpool will look at this game as a must win game and expect to see a further 3 points on the board as a result. Villa on the other hand will look to steal some points from Anfield, which they did manage last season.

STAR MAN – Mario BALOTELLI

With Sturridge being a possible doubt, Super Mario will have an opportunity to play a bit further forward, and feed off the balls from the likes of Sterling and Gerrard.

9Manchester United Vs QPR

Manchester United and Louis van Gaal need to get a win on the board, and what a great chance they have to do that with a game at home against QPR. The R’s on the other hand will be up against it, but will hope to add to their 3 points so far.

STAR MAN – Angel DI MARIA

The Argentine managed 3 assists and a goal in Argentina’s 4-2 win against Germany last week, and if he produces this sort of form with Manchester United he could turn out to be a Fantasy Football must have.

10Hull Vs West Ham

This could be an extremely tight affair, and could possibly lack goals with only 6 goals between the two of them in their opening 3 games.

STAR MAN – Nikica JELAVIC

Nikica has scored 2 goals in his last 2 games, and should look to continue this form against West Ham.
