Game-week 8 Captaincy Analysis

The international break is nearly over and here we are still staring at our Fantasy Football teams since the start of last week.

So firstly, let’s have a look at how Game-week 7’s picks did:

Pick 1 – Sergio Aguero – 7 points
Pick 2 – Radamel Falcao – 7 points
The Differential – Leonardo Ulloa – 2 points
The Gamble – Daniel Sturridge – 0 points

So a bit of a mixed bunch. Anyway onwards and upwards to Game-week 8’s selections:

1. Diego Costa (CRY)

Costa scored his first international goal midweek after 504 minutes of play for Spain, whereas in that time with Chelsea he has already scored 8 goals. With Chelsea playing away at Crystal Palace this week, surely Costa is the best choice for the captain’s armband this week.

2. Angel Di Maria (WBA)

Louis van Gaal and Manchester United have now made it up to fourth somehow, with most of this being down to this man. He has hit the ground running in the Premier League, and we would be surprised to see this not continue against West Brom.

Differential – Christian Benteke (EVE)

The Belgian TANK is back and if he finds some of the form that he had a season ago then he could be a huge differential. If he gets on a run of goals then there could be no stopping him.

Gamble – Raheem Sterling (QPR)

Whether he is tired or not is the main question. If he has had a good night’s sleep, then he could torment the QPR defence. However, if he hasn’t then there could be doubts about whether or not he will start.
