Gameweek 20 saw some of the bigger players blank, and when it came to captaincy, this meant that many just ended up with 4 points. Here is how our pick performed:
1. Alexis Sanchez – 1 point
2. David Silva – 6 points
Gamble – Charlie Austin – 2 points
Differential – Raheem Sterling – 2 points
So onto gameweek 20…
1. David Silva
Silva is in fantastic form at the moment, and he can’t stop scoring! While City strikers are still out, Silva will continue to play in the advanced role, meaning that he will probably get more goal, or assists! He was one of the few players who did not blank on the Boxing Day fixtures, and is a viable choice for captaincy in gameweek 20.
2. Eden Hazard
Hazard is in fantastic form. He wrapped up ten points this week, which is ‘rare’ for Eden, as he doesn’t usually perform away from Stamford Bridge! This means that he can play well no matter who he plays, or where he plays! They play Tottenham this week, and we think he’ll grab a goal or two!
Gamble – Santi Cazorla
With 32 points in his last four gameweeks, Santi is in fantastic form! If he plays well, you could climb the rankings, as he is owned by less than 4%! He seems to have an excellent partnership with Sanchez, and we think he could do very well this week!
Differential – Ayoze Perez
This is a massive gamble if you choose to captain him. While Cisse is out for about 2-3 months, he will play in an advanced role, and will probably score more goals! He is playing nearly the full 90 minutes every game, and has scored 19 points in four gameweeks. As they say, he who dares!
