SHITHOUSE XI – Game-week 12

Game-week 11 seems like an age away now and for a lot of us, a huge points tally is a distant memory as last game-week’s average was 51! Finally, we are out the other side of the international break and game-week 12 is here… not that the Shithouse XI are looking forward to it! Here’s how they got on in game-week 11…

Shithouse XI GW11 Result

So these guys managed a slightly higher points tally than the previous week as they managed to score an average of 2 points a player, 22. The Shithouse XI are now ranked just over 150,000 places above the player in last and they are 1,108th in the @FPL_Updates league.

Goalkeeper:

Green – Rob loves a low scoring week and he didn’t fail to achieve that this week, bringing home a single point. Don’t feel too disheartened though Greeny boy, you conceded 2 very fine goals from the goal machine that is Sergio Aguero!

Defenders:

Davies – Davies played the full 90 in this loss to Burnley, Burnley’s first win of the season. Curtis has nothing to show for this game but the 2 points awarded for playing.

Ward – Ward had a tough game against United in game-week 11 but the reds had to rely on a deflected Mata goal to pull them through. Still, Ward was also booked resulting in a single point to add to the tally.

Moore – Liam Moore is a fine specimen of shithouse, a truly suitable fixture within the line-up, and he proved why he is in the team in game-week 11 returning a -1 point tally. That now means he has 12 points from 10 games he has featured in (90 mins in 9 of those!).

Brown – Sunderland managed to hold Everton at the Stadium of Light to a 1-1 draw. Wes takes his 2 points for playing, which he will be happy with considering his -1 from the week before!

Midfielders:

Wanyama – This man seems to be picking up points left, right and center at the moment and all of a sudden, he finds himself on 45 points! The Kenyan is on the fringe of Koeman’s starting XI, dropping in and out of it from week to week, but he still finds himself in such a strong position. He provided the assist for one of the Long goals against Leicester and picked up 2 bonus points, resulting in a total of 8 points, over a third of the entire points tally for this week!

Cleverley – Tom was part of the tie that saw West Ham & Villa see out a 0-0 draw. Despite picking up the clean sheet bonus, Cleverley wiped this out by picking up a booking. Keep it up Tomo!

N’Zonzi – We bring him in and he gets an assist. The first thing he does all season in terms of FPL points had to be the week we brought him in. His assist helped provide Stoke with a 2-1 win over Spurs, putting him on 5 points for the game-week.

Strikers:

Wickham – Connor was unable to add to his 2 points for playing as he let Larsson take full control of the goal-scoring for Sunderland against Everton.

Jutkiewicz – Fortunately for us, our captain Lukas did feature albeit for 16 mins but without it, Wanyama would have picked up the captain’s armband and that would have ended disastrously for us. Despite being on the pitch for only 16 mins, Lukas did manage to pick up a booking, meaning he finishes the week on 0 points.

Nugent – David didn’t feature at all for the first time this season so we expect him to return when Leicester take on Sunderland in game-week 12! Unfortunately, none of our bench managed to make an appearance either so David stayed in our starting XI.

GAME-WEEK 12

So now onto game-week 12. The international break is done and dusted and our transfer has been made. Introducing the line-up…

Shithouse XI GW12 line-up

PLAYER OUT

Wanyama – Victor had to go after his recent flurry of on-pitch activity and therefore FPL points. He has managed to average over 5 points a game for the last 4 weeks which is going a long way to proving he is not worthy of Shithouse status, even if he was helped by the Hull goalkeeper a couple of weeks ago. It’s only wise that we take him out for now until we can be sure he returns to his good old self.

PLAYER IN

Flamini – We know this man loves a yellow card and he seems to be getting enough playing time to allow him into our team! Welcome Mathieu, make yourself comfortable. I imagine that as long as Wenger continues to play you, you can safely bet you will remain in this Shithouse XI! Although, mentioning his yellow card record, Flamini has actually only picked up 2 this entire season! Something must be wrong and we hope we have timed this right to pick up the huge bulk of bookings that is surely coming his way!

This week we have given the captain’s armband to David Nugent as we are sure he will be raring to go after game-week 11’s lay-off. Nugent will be looking to leave his mark on the match as his team welcome an inconsistent Sunderland side to the King Power.
