SHITHOUSE XI – Gameweek 23

So the FA and league cups have been keeping us busy over the last couple of weeks and a lot of players have been taking the opportunity to play around with their teams by playing the all important January wildcard. All players use their wildcard to give their team that edge over their opponents that they may have been lacking or to withstand the pressure within their leagues. It’s a unique situation the Shithouse XI are in as they don’t need to worry about this. Instead, they carried on doing what they do best…

Gameweek 22 Results

So an overall score of just 19, which is 33 below the average for gameweek 22. They finished just 44,000 from the bottom of all players in the gameweek and now sit 1,188th in the @FPL_Updates league, just 7 players from the bottom.

Goalkeeper:

Green – Robo had a tough game against United in which QPR could only manage a 2-0 loss at home. Therefore, Green has finished the gameweek with just the 2 points for playing 90 minutes, after making 5 saves but conceding 2.

Defenders:

Davies – Curtis picked up 2 points for playing 71 minutes at Upton park but in that time, he conceded 2 of the 3 goals West Ham scored. Because of this, Curtis finishes the week on 1 point.

Morgan – Bojan’s goal was the only goal at the King Power and resulted in costing Leicester & Morgan the clean sheet. The first of our Wes’ finishes on 2 points for playing.

Brown – Our second Wes took part in the 2-1 loss to Spurs which means he conceded 2 and picked up the 2 for playing and therefore finishes the week on 1 point.

Midfielders:

CLeverley – Tomo fell agonisingly short of the 2 points for playing as he played 58 minutes in the 2-0 loss to Liverpool. He brings home just the 1 point because of this.

Livermore – Our captain for the week, Jake Livermore, did nothing of any importance and finished the week with just the 4 points, having had his 2 points for playing doubled.

Flamini – Flamini played just 7 minutes in the masterclass performance against City at the Etihad and as a result, only got the single point.

Gardner – Craig was part of the West Brom team who saw off the Everton attack and played out the full 90 minutes in the 0-0. As the Pulis affect has really taken shape in West Brom’s side instantly, Craig picks up the 1 clean sheet bonus point and finishes the week on 3.

Strikers:

Our strikers had a bit of a nightmare in terms of minutes played this week…

Wickham – Connor played just 26 minutes and was unable to help his side avoid the 2-1 loss at White Hart Lane. He picks up just the 1 point.

Weimann – Andreas managed 32 minutes against Liverpool and he too, finishes the week on 1 point.

Vardy – Leicester continue to struggle for points and Jamie played 64 minutes of the loss to Stoke, meaning he was the highest points returner up top this week.

GAMEWEEK 23
