SHITHOUSE XI – Gameweek 24

So the Shithouse XI continue to do us proud and this week was no exception…

SHITHOUSE XI - Gameweek 23 points

18 points for the gameweek which is a massive 28 points below the gameweek average. Admittedly, some of our starting XI didn’t play as many minutes as we would have liked but still, a low score to be proud of. The Shithouse XI now sit 1214th in the @FPL_Updates league and ranked 3.4 millionth for the gameweek.

Goalkeeper:

Green – Robo was part of the team that fell victim to a Walters hat-trick and it was a game in which Green failed to make a save throughout the entire 90 minutes. He finishes the gameweek on 1 point.

Defenders:

Morgan – What a week for Wes, conceding 3 goals against Manchester United with one of those being an own goal. Shockingly bad finish to the week as he scores -1 point.

Davies – Curtis and Hull continue their bad run of form in an all but convincing performance against Newcastle. They came out as 3-0 losers in the match at the KC and Davies finishes the week on 1 point.

Ward – Thanks to a second minute Lukaku goal at Selhurst, Ward lost his clean sheet and gets 2 points for his performance.

Midfielders:

Livermore – Jake was our captain for the week and thanks to a booking he picked up, he adds just the 2 points to the Shithouse XI points tally.

Cleverley – Same old Tom, nothing to add here. 2 points for his over 60 minutes performance.

Flamini – Flamini only appeared for 14 minutes in the 5-0 win over Villa and as a result, only picked up the single point.

Gardner – Craig had a similar week to Flamini in that he played under 60 minutes and only got 1 point.

Strikers:

Weimann – When you get taken off at the same time as Cleverley, you know you must have done something wrong. That is exactly what happened to Andreas as he picked up his 2 points for playing against Arsenal.

Vardy – Jamie played a single half in the loss to United and didn’t do anything to help his side avoid that defeat, achieving the single point for appearing.

Wickham – Connor was the big point scorer this week as he picked up a goal against Burnley in Sunderland’s 2-0 win. Despite the goal, he didn’t pick up any bonus points fortunately and he scores a big 6 points.

GAMEWEEK 24

So onto this gameweek and we have made use of our 2 transfers available to us to freshen up areas of the team…

SHITHOUSE XI Gameweek 24 line-up

PLAYERS OUT

Flamini – With Flamini lacking minutes, we feel it is time to wave goodbye and bring in some shithouse talent who graces the field more often than not.

Smalling – Chris has only played in 3 of the last 9 games for United and with the United squad back to near enough full fitness, his game-time should drop even more.

PLAYERS IN

Jones – David is struggling to pick up points this season, playing near enough every game and failing to score more than 3 points on any occasion so far. In our eyes, this makes him a perfect addition to the shithouse XI and he could probably show some others a thing or two on how to reach shithouse greatness!

Caulker – With QPR struggling for clean sheets, it makes sense to bring in a QPR defender and with Caulker, we have a great fit as he has only scored more than 2 points on 6 occasions this season, managing a single goal, 1 assist and 4 clean sheets. He also gets the game time more often than not so we feel he will fit in nicely to our team.

The captain’s armband has been handed to Jamie Vardy this week. We have seen he starts on the bench so hopefully he doesn’t come on and N’Zonzi gives the captain’s armband the full performance it deserves.
