Well, I managed to make profit last week, it might only be £1.60 but making money is making money. I’ve still got to get used to picking my teams so early but this week I am confident. With Liverpool, Everton, Manchester City and Newcastle not playing, I feel like I’ve got the players who will score points.

Ben Foster gets put in goal because of his friendly price, and for the fact that WBA and Palace have been goal shy as of late. Then the defence, I tried to save some money to go big in attack. Cresswell is regular pick for me if I think West Ham can get a clean sheet. He has major assist potential too. And Fuchs is quickly adding himself to that same group, as he has the potential to score big and bring in the CS. Final pick is Nathan Ake, cheap and part of a team that isn’t bad defensively. It’s a gamble but hopefully it pays off.

As for the midfield, Chelsea are starting to look good, but Willian has looked good all season. He’s the reliable Chelsea midfielder. Mahrez and Payet should not be in question, if the fixture is friendly, they should be in your side. And I go with a JNO United favourite cause of his price, Dele Alli. The Midfield speaks for itself.

And the front three. Costa is back in form, Vardy is back in form, and Kane is in form in an in-form Tottenham side. With Aguero out of this week’s fixtures, those are the three you want.

Now onto FPL Avids and his team:

Leicester v Norwich – At the start of the season many would’ve suggested that this would be a relegation decider but with Leicester flying high at the top of the table I see no other outcome than a comfortable win for the Foxes. Fuchs, Mahrez and Vardy all get a spot in my team.

Stoke v Villa – Stoke’s defence might not be the same without Shawcross but we’re talking about a Villa side who just lost to their youth team. Butland and Wollschied should be enough to earn some clean sheet points.

West Ham v Sunderland – The Hammers normally struggle against weaker sides but as we saw in the cup at the weekend, Payet and Antonio are just different class. Collins is in there as he has a good chance of a clean sheet like the rest.

Eriksen and Kane are at home to a rejuvenated Swansea. However, Spurs continue to go under the radar and are in a really good spot to overcome Leicester. While Deeney at home to Bournemouth has been recently taking the limelight off a certain Ighalo.

Note: Both teams are subject to change. May the best FPL manager win!
