Well, it feels like a long time since I’ve done this, but here we go. Hopefully I can rediscover the form that got me this gig.

In goal we are going with one of the few DGW33 players that didn’t disappoint, goalkeeper cheapie J.Robles from Everton. Southampton have been hit and miss away from home and I’m hoping they can be more miss against this Everton side that haven’t been raking in the attacking points. At 5.0m, he’s a steal. The defence is stacked because of this though with Bellerin, Smalling and Craig Dawson as my back three. Arsenal face Palace at home and Man Utd face Villa at home, so those choices were simple. West Brom face a Watford side who I think aren’t too worried about the league anymore so I’m hoping for clean sheet points.

The midfield is a mixture of youth and potential big hitters. The youth is Lingard and Iwobi. Iwobi doesn’t even seem like a gamble at this point and Lingard could get on the scoresheet. This allows the rest of my team to be heavy hitters with Coutinho and Sigurdsson completing the midfield. Liverpool I hope will be full of confidence and not get complacent against Bournemouth. Sigurdsson has just been consistent points recently and I couldn’t ignore him.

Finally the top three. Sanchez and Aguero are explosive and Andy Carroll scored a hat-trick last weekend. Hopefully they all live up to what I’m hoping they will. Sanchez is my captain choice against Palace.

OMG, no West Ham or Leicester players. Probably be a big scoring game now.

Now onto FPL Avids and his team:

4 premium defenders for me this week. Cech & Gabriel vs Crystal Palace alongside Rojo & Blind against Villa. Surely one pairing will keep a cleanie.

Leicester and West Ham will be an intriguing game in the title race and I want some coverage from it. Midfield maestros Mahrez and Payet are likely to be the star performers. Sigurdsson is against a shambolic Newcastle side (not to mention he’s bang in-form) and likewise Redmond against Sunderland. Norwich v Sunderland will all but seal the fate of the Northern clubs if Norwich win.

Alexis Sanchez has been carrying Arsenal for weeks now and has looked like his Barcelona self. Firmino was pulled off early for Liverpool against Dortmund so he’s likely to start at the weekend, while Deeney‘s a bit of a punt. I fancy him to score – I’ve even got him in my FPL side.

Note: Teams are subject to change. May the best FPL manager win!
