Differentials XI – Gameweek 1 FPL Tips – Fantasy Premier League Tips

With the upcoming opening weekend of football, many fantasy pemier league managers are looking to fit as many of the big hitters into one team as possible. This has already created a somewhat ‘template FPL team’ as many teams have the likes of; Hazard, Rooney, Sterling, etc. However this team is a little different and as explained in the first draft, this team will only feature players with an ownership percentage of less than 5%. If ownership increases over this, then they must be removed from the team.

So without further ado, welcome to the Differentials XI and here is the line-up for the first gameweek:

Differentials

Starting XI: Boruc (2.3%), Cedric (5.0%), Gibbs (1.0%), Jones (1.1%), Lens (1.0%), Barkley (3.2%), Redmond (1.6%), Young (1.8%), Jerome (1.0%), Rodriguez (2.1%), Vardy (2.9%)

Bench: Adrian (3.5%), Payet (3.9%), Schlupp (2.0%), Rose (4.0%)

So in goal we are sticking with Boruc, as he and Bournemouth start the Premier League season with a home game against Aston Villa. Just in front of him we start Cedric who just squeezes into the team with an ownership percentage of 5.0%. This may increase before kick-off but as stated, if the player is at 5.0% or below, he is good to go! Alongside him we have Gibbs and Jones who host West Ham and Tottenham respectively.

In the middle of the park the Differentials XI start; Lens, Barkley, Redmond and Young. Unfortunately Payet takes a spot on the bench this week, but he will definitely feature in the upcoming weeks. Jeremain Lens will be one to watch this week on his debut in the Premier League as he and Sunderland face Leicester City. Likewise, Redmond could create some danger for Crystal Palace on his return to the league.

Finally up top we start Jerome, who seems to be being overlooked somewhat with Wilson and Deeney getting the nod out of the three promoted teams. However he could surprise a few people this week. Alongside him we also give starts to Rodriguez and Vardy, who both will be looking to get good starts to the season.

Hope you enjoyed. Best of luck one and all!
