Gameweek 29 Preview – Fantasy Premier League Tips

Gameweek 28 was a midweek set of FPL fixtures, however this weekend we are back to the usual weekend fantasy football madness. Without further ado, here is our fantasy Premier League gameweek preview:

TOTARS

Tottenham vs Arsenal

Tottenham missed a great opportunity to finally go top of the Barclays Premier League after they lost away to Europe chasing West Ham. They lost 1-0 away to the Hammers which means they are still 3 points off Leicester.

Star Man – Harry Kane (10.1m)

The Spurs striker is key to everything positive they do and if they are to win he will have a key part to play.

Prediction – Tottenham 1-0 Arsenal

CHESTK

Chelsea vs Stoke

Chelsea are continuously climbing the table under Guus Hiddink and may be outsiders for the European positions. Their most recent performance wasn’t pretty but it got them 3 points away at Norwich where they won 2-1.

Star Man – Eden Hazard (10.8m)

The Belgian still only has 1 goal to his name according to FPL but continues to be a threat.

Prediction – Chelsea 3-2 Stoke

EVEWHU

Everton vs West Ham

The arrival of a new majority shareholder for Everton has certainly seemed like it has jeered on the players somewhat. They eased passed Aston Villa 3-1 at Villa Park on Tuesday and are searching for a top half finish.

Star Man – Romelu Lukaku (8.7m)

Scored his 17th of the season against Aston Villa and has a knack of scoring versus West Ham.

Prediction – Everton 1-0 West Ham

MCIAVL

Manchester City vs Aston Villa

Aston Villa continued their slump of a season at home to Everton on Tuesday night. They eventually lost the game 3-1 to the Toffees which sparked more calls of Randy Lerner out which has been occurring for weeks now.

Star Man – Sergio Aguero (13.3m)

How can you look past this man in this fixture? He will run riot surely… right?

Prediction – Manchester City 4-0 Aston Villa

NEWBOU

Newcastle vs Bournemouth

Bournemouth look to have Premier League safety in the bag after recording another win at home to South Coast rivals Southampton. The Cherries have also seen the return of a key player, Max Gradel. The Ivorian has played well in his 2 games since returning.

Star Man – Benik Afobe (6.1m)

Benik Afobe keeps on racking up the goals in the Premier League after a minor hiccup.

Prediction – Newcastle 1-2 Bournemouth

SOUSUN

Southampton vs Sunderland

Southampton were on the other side of the South Coast Derby where they were beaten 2-0 by Eddie Howe’s side. Prior to that match, Southampton were looking more like their old selves from last season. However, the result against Bournemouth may have put them back in their place ever so slightly. Sunderland also played on the Tuesday as they hosted Crystal Palace. They were pegged back by 2 Connor Wickham goals but salvaged a point thanks to the Italian Fabio Borini.

Star Man – Graziano Pelle (7.8m)

With the amount of injuries Southampton have up front, this man has to step up. We think he’ll have to deliver against Sunderland.

Prediction – Southampton 2-0 Sunderland

SWANOR

Swansea vs Norwich

Norwich are certainly going to be facing the drop this season after yet another defeat on Tuesday. They faced Chelsea at Carrow Road and were immediately behind within a minute and were never really in the game since.

Star Man – Gylfi Sigurdsson (7.1m)

The Icelandic maestro has played well recently for the Swans and continues to play in a very attacking role.

Prediction – Swansea 1-0 Norwich

WATLEI

Watford vs Leicester

Leicester were held at home by West Bromwich Albion after a stunning free kick from Craig Gardner to make it 2-2. They are sorely missing Frenchman N’golo Kante in their midfield. Watford will prove a tough test as they have been pretty solid at home and put up a good fight midweek against United at Old Trafford.

Star Man – Jamie Vardy (7.8m)

Isn’t on the greatest form at the moment but definitely has it in him to deliver once again.

Prediction – Watford 1-1 Leicester

CRYLIV

Crystal Palace vs Liverpool

Crystal Palace have scored 2 in both of their last 2 games but only picking up a measly point from the games. They lost 3-2 away at West Bromwich Albion, then more recently away at Sunderland the Eagles drew 2-2. All the goals from Palace in those 2 games were scored by ex-Sunderland player Connor Wickham.

Star Man – Daniel Sturridge (9.9m)

Back from injury once again and will soon start his next goal spree for the Reds.

Prediction – Crystal Palace 1-3 Liverpool

WBAMUN

West Brom vs Manchester United

West Bromwich Albion disappointed many millions of Premier League fans on Tuesday after the Baggies nicked a point at the King Power stadium. Their cause was greatly helped by a magnificent free kick from Craig Gardner.

Star Man – Anthony Martial (7.6m)

With the young Frenchman back in the side, you would expect that he fancies his chances against a frail looking West Brom back line.

Prediction – West Brom 1-2 Manchester United
