So without further ado, we present to you the gameweek 36 preview!

EVEBOU

Everton vs Bournemouth

Everton are experiencing a dreadful run of form of late as they haven’t registered a single win in their last 7 in the Premier League and that coupled with the FA Cup loss to Man Utd could see the end of Roberto Martinez at Goodison. The Cherries on the other hand will see this as a chance to bounce back after a 4-1 thrashing at the hands of Chelsea.

STAR MAN: Joshua King (4.3m)

With the Evertonians struggling for any sort of consistency of late, the Norwegian could just be the man to win it for the Cherries.

PREDICTION: Everton 1-2 Bournemouth

NEWCRY

Newcastle vs Crystal Palace

In the last 3 games, Rafa Benitez’s Toon army has shown the promise and the hunger that is required for life in the Premier League and are willing to do anything to avoid relegation. Pardew’s side will want to start picking up a few points in order to prevent even the smallest chance of them being dragged into the relegation scrap. Expect it to be an end to end game with both sides getting a decent amount of chances.

STAR MAN: Andros Townsend (5.7m)

The former Spurs man is one of the most in form midfielders in the league at the moment and could be a menace for the Eagles defence.

PREDICTION: Newcastle United 3-1 Crystal Palace

STKSUN

Stoke vs Sunderland

Sunderland have kept 3 clean sheets in their last 4 PL games and will want to extend that run as the Black Cats look to avoid relegation. On the other hand, the Potters have done nothing good recently except selling the naming rights of their stadium and with the passion Big Sam’s men showed against Arsenal, this should be a cakewalk for them.

STAR MAN: Jermain Defoe (5.2m)

He is a monster at away grounds having scored 10 of his total tally of 13 goals away from home & his tireless running will be crucial for Sunderland when they hit Stoke on the counter.

PREDICTION: Stoke City 0-2 Sunderland

WATAVL

Watford vs Aston Villa

Watford have not been in the best of forms recently, having done the job in the early part of their campaign they had shifted their concentration towards the FA Cup. Now that the Hornets have been knocked out of the cup they would like to make a statement against the relegated Villans. Villa did put up a fight against Southampton but they were never convincing enough to win the game.

STAR MAN: Troy Deeney (5.2m)

Watford haven’t shown the desire and have lost form since reaching the safety mark but Deeney being the captain would want to lead from the front and be the match winner.

PREDICTION: Watford 2-1 Aston Villa

WBAWHU

West Brom vs West Ham

The Albion defence at home might prove to be a tough proposition to break down but West Ham, having dropped some points recently, will be in the mood to take the fight to the opposition. Not collecting three points on the day could put them in real trouble when trying to maintain their Europa League spot.

STAR MAN: Diafra Sakho (6.2m)

The Albion defence generally seem to struggle against pace and that’s what Sakho offers the Hammers. He could be crucial in running behind the Baggies defence.

PREDICTION: West Bromwich Albion 1-2 West Ham United

ARSNOR

Arsenal vs Norwich

Arsenal have dropped out of the title race again this season but the race for a Champions league spot is still on. The Gunners are on the back of an unexpected away draw at the Stadium of Light, of which they faced a lot of criticism and will look to hit back with a bang against Norwich. This seems to be a pretty one sided affair.

STAR MAN: Alexis Sanchez (11.1m)

The Chilean is the most in form midfielder in the league at the moment and it is quite unlikely that the Norwich defence will keep him quiet.

PREDICTION: Arsenal 4-0 Norwich City

SWALIV

Swansea vs Liverpool

Guidolin and his team must be looking to put things right against a very unpredictable Liverpool team who will be in the middle of their Europa League semi final ties. Klopp having adopted the rotation policy may be looking to rest a few players again which might play into the hands of the Swans who are looking to end the season on a high. Expect it to be an open game as it always is when the Swans play at the Liberty.

STAR MAN: Daniel Sturridge (10.1m)

With Liverpool on a scoring spree this man has been supplying the team with some vital goals. Having adjusted to the pace of the Premier League, he’s back in form at a crucial time for Liverpool in the absence of Benteke and Origi.

PREDICTION: Swansea 2-3 Liverpool

MUNLEI

Manchester United vs Leicester

Both teams having achieved victories last week will be looking to push on from here with the momentum on their side. With the Red Devils still in search of Champions league football, every game is a must win for them but Leicester are on the brink of winning the PL title and are just 1 win away from achieving the unexpected. They will want to seal it as soon as possible in order to avoid any potential threat from Spurs. United will find it difficult to beat this well drilled Leicester team and might have to share the spoils.

STAR MAN: David De Gea (5.8m)

This man has been crucial for United this season, saving almost anything and keeping his side in the game whenever required, so don’t be surprised if you get to hear or see “Dave saves” again this weekend!

PREDICTION: Manchester United 0-0 Leicester City

SOUMCI

Southampton vs Manchester City

Koeman will want his side to go out and put up a strong performance to still be in contention for European qualification whereas Manchester City will be looking to sit on the 3rd spot and get a finish above Arsenal. It won’t be easy for City by any means as Southampton have found form and always prove to be difficult opposition.

STAR MAN: Shane Long (5.8m)

The Irishman scored and assisted in the last game he started & he will be the man Southampton will look to in order to break down a City defence which is not too rigid away from home.

PREDICTION: Southampton 2-1 Manchester City

CHETOT

Chelsea vs Tottenham

The Monday night kick off sees a big London derby. Tottenham are the only team still in the fight for the title versus Leicester while Chelsea are still in with a fight for Europa League football which might be a tad out of their reach. Last week Spurs had to settle for an unexpected draw at the Lane which might have ended their title hopes while Chelsea are on the back of a big away win at the Vitality. Both teams will be desperate to win and this game could just bring the best out of the both. There surely can’t be a more tastier fixture than this to end a gameweek.

STAR MAN: Harry Kane (10.4m)

The Englishman has been the key to whatever positive Spurs do and he will have to be at his best if Spurs are to get past Hiddink’s men.

PREDICTION: Chelsea 1-1 Tottenham Hotspur
