FPL Updates

To kick things off we have banked on Manchester United and Swansea clean sheets this week. David De Gea is our man between the sticks for us this week, with his team mate Darmian also in defence. Our two Swansea players are Taylor and Naughton, who have both shown that they have the potential to score some fantasy football points!

In the middle of the park we have gone with a mix of the popular players and the odd differential. Ozil starts off a middle four, with a game against West Brom, hopefully some good points to come this week! Yohan Cabaye is one of those that seems to have gone under the radar somewhat of late, but could come up trumps this week with a game against Sunderland. Montero and Eriksen are our final two midfielders, with games against Bournemouth and West Ham.

Finally, up top we start a front three of Vardy, Martial and Lukaku. Hopefully Vardy can keep his fine goal scoring form going whilst the other two lads face Watford and Aston Villa respectively…

Now onto FPL Avids and his team:

A few fixtures really tickled my fancy this week.

Underachieving Chelsea at home to Norwich will be looking to rectify their shaky start to the season after the international break. This has lead to double Chelsea in my team; Willian who continued his form for Brazil. While the second is perhaps a surprising pick; Diego Costa. He’s certainly not looking like the player he was last season. He’s also going to be my captain. This will either result in a 2 point haul after a yellow card after a scrap at the half way line or 20 points after a double, only time will tell.

Everton v Aston Villa. Improving side v poor team with a new manager. Double defence in Mori and Stones as a clean sheet looks likely. Up top I’ve went for inform Lukaku.

Palace v Sunderland. Similar story to the game above. A clean sheet looks likely justifying the Ward and Hennessey picks. While the trickster Bolasie also gets a spot in my side with his unpredictability drawing him to me.

This season’s front runner’s Mahrez and Kevin De Bruyne also have decent fixtures so warrant a place. Kyle Walker finishes my side off at home to West Ham. Tottenham are at home to West Ham, however I’ve got a feeling the hammers will be somewhat diminished without Payet who’s out for several months.

Note: Both teams are subject to change. May the best FPL manager win!
