The FPL season so far can only be described as ‘Upside Down’ with many great punditry accounts languishing at the bottom and the Shithouse XI team beating a lot of them too. At one point in gameweek 3, the Shithouse team had a higher rank than my personal team and the FPL Updates team. Credit to Manchester City for saving embarrassment after they beat Everton comfortably away from home though. Gameweek 3 continued with August’s form with the minnow players scoring high. My transfer in of Callum Wilson backfired tremendously and as a result, my progress to the depths of Fantasy Premier Legaue have been massively hindered!
With a total of 52 points and a rank of 2,052,998 I am over 1 million places from my target.
Goalkeeper
Butland – Conceded so can’t complain but made 6 saves giving him 2 extra points. The Stoke defence need to improve, but not too much….
Defenders
PvA – With a single point, the Dutchman continues to impress me.
S.Taylor – A freak result against Manchester United away from home. I am confident normal service will be resumed this weekend at home to Arsenal.
Cathcart – Looks like Watford are the strongest of the newly promoted clubs at the back so far but I’m expecting this to change this weekend away to City.
Midfielders
Colback, Cattermole, Coquelin – 10 points between them including one as captain, slightly higher than I’d have liked!
Navas – Coming off my bench he didn’t manage to capatalise in City’s win and with Kevin De Bruyne coming in, his place in the city side is under threat.
Sanchez – Equalling the good one, he brought me home 3 points.
Forwards
Wilson – Don’t want to talk about it, hes OUT!
Graham –Starting the game I feared the worse. Luckily so did he, he shit it.
