Things’ Top Trump – Gameweek 4 Tips – Fantasy Premier League Tips

This is my third article of Things’ Top Trump. So far we have had one impressive return in Payet in GW2 & one not so impressive last week with Mata hitting just the 3 points vs Newcastle. However this week, I’m more confident in my choice after playing an arguably risky one with Juan Mata last week. This week’s Top Trump is Stoke forward Mame Biram Diouf.

The Stoke forward is one of my own players and is one of my ‘gems’ I feel could really rack in some differential returns in the next few weeks. This week Stoke face the bottom of the table side in West Brom. West Brom find themselves bottom with just the 1 point. Having conceded 6 goals this season in 3 games, despite the argument of it being due to difficult fixtures, they haven’t looked as organised defensively as we as an audience would expect a Pulis team to be.

Diouf has registered 2 goals in 3 games this season, failing to score against Liverpool on the first week but scoring vs Spurs and Norwich in the past 2 weeks. Last season vs West Brom at the Brittania stadium, Diouf registered 2 goals in a 2-0 win for the Potters, furthering my confidence in the Senegalese forward to deliver this week. The Stoke forward loves scoring at home, with 7 out of his 12 goals last season coming at the Britannia.

The arrival of Shaqiri was one I was delighted with, bringing more class into the Premier League and also the benefits Diouf will bate off this move. Shaqiri is a real playmaker and with him playing behind Diouf, they could be a real handful as the duo showed last weekend Vs Norwich; Diouf scoring after being assisted by Shaqiri.
