Things’ Top Trump – Gameweek 6 Tips – Fantasy Premier League Tips

Welcome to this weeks edition of Things’ Top Trump. Recent weeks have seen my FPL picks fail to live up to expectations, but that’s the Premier League for you and it’s sheer unpredictability. This week my Fantasy Premier League Top Trump is the Bournemouth forward Callum Wilson.

Callum has made a fantastic start to the 2015/16 campaign currently with the most points for a forward at an impressive 30 points, averaging 6 points each gameweek. The Englishman has hit the back of the net 4 times this season and with his club Bournemouth only scoring 6 themselves, if a goal is going to come it’ll come from him. Which leads me onto my next point; the opposition.

The Cherries play in front of their home fans welcoming the struggling Sunderland, whom themselves are joint bottom of the table as things stand. Defensively Dick Advocaat’s team look weak, they have conceded 11 goals already this season, and in 2 away games this season they have conceded 6 goals, averaging 3 goals conceded every time they are the away side.

Conclusively, I see the Cherries picking up what would be a vital victory for them against Sunderland. Personally if they’re going to score, which I’m pretty sure they will, it’ll come from this week’s Top Trump, Callum Wilson. Currently owned by 25.8%, I’ll be interested to see how many opt to place that captain’s armband on him this week.
