Captaincy Analysis – FPL Gameweek 32 Tips – Fantasy Premier League Tips

With 3 gameweeks in the space of a week, we are now looking to gameweek 32 and more specifically, who we should captain in our fantasy football teams. Before we look at this week’s captaincy analysis, here is how last week’s picks did:

1. Philippe Coutinho – 7 points
2. Jamie Vardy – 9 points
3. Wilfried Zaha – 2 points
Differential – Kamil Grosicki – 5 points
Gamble – Sergio Aguero – 8 points

Now onto this week’s selections:

1. Sergio Aguero (HUL)

Despite losing to Chelsea last week, Aguero bagged another goal, and he is now starting to catch up to the leading goal scorer, Lukaku. With a home game to Hull this weekend, a team who conceded 2 to the team with the least amount of goals scored (Boro) in 2017, we’d like to think that if Boro can bag two past a weak Hull defence, then Aguero will be able to bag a few as well, especially with him being in such good form at the moment! He is starting to get more and more popular, so definitely one to consider if you need to maintain a healthy rank!

2. Zlatan Ibrahimovic (SUN)

His first game back from suspension was against Everton, and was unlucky to only get 1 goal against them as, in my opinion, he was wrongly disallowed a goal for offside. Having said that, Man United play Sunderland this week, who have been in woeful form both home and away, and despite Pickford being in good form, I doubt he will be able to stop Zlatan from scoring, especially with the Swede being Man United’s main source of goals this season.

3. Romelu Lukaku (LEI)

Although he has been poor in the last two games, Lukaku loves playing at Goodison Park as he is yet to blank in a home game in 2017; an incredible record and one that could be extended when Everton play Leicester on Sunday. As Leicester will keep one eye on the Champions League, it could mean that some star players are left out for the game against the Toffees, and this could make Everton’s task easier.

Differential – Divock Origi (STK)

With the injury Mane suffered in the Merseyside Derby, it looks as though he could be out for the rest of the season which means that Origi will take his place in the starting lineup. We saw this on Wednesday against Bournemouth, which resulted in Origi scoring against the Cherries, and with him only owned by 5%, he could prove to be a fantastic captaincy choice, especially considering how good Liverpool are at attacking this season.

Gamble – Christian Benteke (ARS)

With two goals and 1 assist in his last two games, Benteke has burst into good form and a game against an out-of-form Arsenal team could see Benteke add to his tally. Palace will be relying on their Belgian striker to try and fire some goals to avoid relegation, and with him being the only fit striker, he’s guaranteed a starting place for Palace. If he managed to score against the league leaders, then surely he can find a way to score against Arsenal?
