Captaincy Analysis – FPL Gameweek 34 Tips – Fantasy Premier League Tips

Gameweek 34 see’s us FPL managers take on a double gamewee, which means that if you select the right captain, you could see some huge FPL green arrows! However, before we look at this week’s captaincy picks, here’s how last week’s captaincy analysis did:

1. Dele Alli – 6 points
2. Romelu Lukaku – 6 points
3. Roberto Firmino – 11 points
Differential – Wilfried Zaha – 2 points
Gamble – Zlatan Ibrahimovic – 0 points

Now onto this week’s captaincy analysis:

1. Zlatan Ibrahimovic (BUR & MCI)

It’s that time in FPL. The season is almost over, DGW’S are happening and we start to see FPL managers reaching the exclusive, and fantastic, 100 point score. This week, probably too optimistic to hope for a 100-pointer, however one of the players with a DGW is Zlatan. With both of their games coming away from Old Trafford, and the fact they smashed Chelsea 2-0, I have high hopes that Zlatan will be able to get a few goals this week. As he is owned by 31% of FPL managers, many of them will captain the Swede, so I would highly recommend Zlatan for captaincy in order to maintain a healthy rank, especially with the season nearly drawing to a close.

2. Harry Kane (CRY)

Kane is well and truly back. After hitting the post after his injury two weeks ago, he marked his first start with a goal and an assist against Bournemouth. Including the games before his injury, he actually has 6 goals and 2 assists in 3 games, and with him desperate to try and catch the Golden Boot and with Spurs 4 behind Chelsea, I can’t see Kane’s form dipping anytime soon! He’s only owned by 14%, which is pretty low considering how clinical he is!

3. Romelu Lukaku (WHU)

The are three things certain in life: Death; taxes, and Lukaku scoring against West Ham. He has scored in 9 (nine!) consecutive games against the Hammers, a run that started in 2013! Year in, year out, Lukaku always manages to find a way to score past them, and with West Ham in poor form, I wouldn’t be surprised if Lukaku gets more than one on the weekend! He has been in scintillating form in 2017, so will that form continue?

Differential – Alvaro Negredo (BOU & SUN)

Another player with a DGW, Negredo plays both Bournemouth and Sunderland this week, two teams that have leaked goals this year. With 2 goals in his last 3 games, Negredo has been in amongst the goals, however Boro will be desperate for more. As they will see both of the games as winnable, they will need Negredo at his very best in order for them to get 3 points from each game. Sunderland have kept 1 clean sheet in 8 GW’s, whereas Bournemouth have kept 2 in their last 12, so surely Negredo has to get on the scoresheet!

Gamble – Wilfried Zaha (LIV & TOT)

This is a massive gamble, as Palace play both Liverpool and Spurs this week, two fixtures that will be very difficult for Zaha to do well in. However, Zaha seems to do better in the ‘big’ games, as he got 2 assists against Arsenal, 1 goal and an assist against Chelsea, yet blanked to Leicester and Southampton. With this in mind, it could be a chance to prove to his critics that he is a good player, and with him only being owned by 15%, it could be s differential option. It would certainly be a recommendation to those desperate to catch up their rivals, as this is a massive risk!
