Differentials XI – Gameweek 15 FPL Tips – Fantasy Premier League Tips

Last week saw an above average 57 points returned to us which is more than respectable given the stipulations of the Differentials XI.

Before we continue to analyse the team, here is how the Differentials XI looked at the end of the week:

So the stand out performers were captain Christian Benteke, who capitalised on a rather comical error from Southampton’s Fraser Forster, and Christian Eriksen thanks to Spurs’ mauling of Swansea.

Last weekend saw me log into the squad on Thursday with 3 doubtful players and 2 red flagged comrades. I think I might just survive with only 1 transfer though, so out goes Bolasie, in comes Sigurdsson.

Starting XI: Forster (4.9%), Luiz (2.7%), Mustafi (2.0%), Coleman (4.7%), Erisken (7.4%), Sigurdsson (7.6%), Pedro (5.4%), Snodgrass (5.1%), Benteke (7.8%), Rondon (5.0%), Wilson (3.1%)

Bench: Stekelenburg (4.2%), Dawson (1.6%), Pereyra (0.6%), Shawcross (2.1%)

In the net remains Forster. Despite his error as previously mentioned, he’s still a top class keeper. At home to Middlesbrough there’s a reasonable chance of a clean sheet, although Boro’s form has seen them have a decent start to Premier League life. 3 premium defenders line up in the shape of Luiz, Mustafi and Coleman making up the back line. Luiz was robbed of a clean sheet with Cahill’s own goal at the Etihad although it doesn’t feel as bad given the fact De Bruyne missed an open goal from 2 yards out. Mustafi starts at home to Stoke despite not keeping a clean sheet in 5. He gained an assist last time out against West Ham highlighting his attacking potential. Coleman’s the best out of the rest of my defenders. The Toffees’ clean sheet potential will have been boosted with the suspension of Watford’s Roberto Pereyra.

Eriksen delivering again at the weekend and is perhaps entering one of his notorious purple patches. Pedro should brush off the knock he sustained at City last week to be okay to face a top 6 clash against West Brom; I never thought I’d be saying that! Snodgrass gets one more chance to deliver at home to Palace, who finally won at the weekend while Sigurdsson makes up the midfield and is this week’s transfer in for the injured Bolasie. Bob Bradley’s playing him as a false 9 so he’s become a much better threat for goals in recent weeks.

Up top I’ve gone for 3 strikers for the first time in a while. Wilson gets a start after burning me for putting him on the bench 2 weeks running. In-form Benteke obviously starts and remains with this week’s captain’s armband. Completing this week’s team is Rondon.
