Differentials XI – Gameweek 16 FPL Tips – Fantasy Premier League Tips

Wait what? 2 weeks above average on the bounce without having any fantasy football favourites?! Before we continue, here’s how the Differentials XI looked at the end of the week:

Well, I think I deserve a pat on the back, although it doesn’t seem as impressive when you look at the overall rank which is just inside the 2 million mark. The weekend fixtures saw Snodgrass, Sigurdsson, Forster, Luiz and captain Benteke all return points in a pleasing performance all round. The only downside was the injury Mustafi picked up which will see him miss all of December pretty much, but his replacement has very favourable fixtures.

Here’s how the Differentials XI line up this week:

Differentials XI

Starting XI: Forster (5.1%), Luiz (2.8%), Rose (5.5%), Coleman (4.3%), Erisken (8.5%), Sigurdsson (9.1%), Pedro (5.0%), Snodgrass (5.1%), Benteke (10.0%), Rondon (5.1%), Wilson (3.8%)

Bench: Stekelenburg (4.1%), Dawson (1.6%), Pereyra (0.5%), Shawcross (1.9%)

In the net remains Forster; 3 clean sheets in 4 games. The Saints are starting to show the form we all reminisce about. Luiz obviously keeps his starting position away to Sunderland, a place where the Blues have notoriously struggled! On the back of a remarkable run of 7 clean sheets in 9, they should have enough to make it 10 wins on the bounce. New boy Rose is at home to Hull so there is chance of a clean sheet for Spurs, while Coleman is still somehow in the squad despite keeping 2 clean sheets the whole season!

Erisken gets the armband this week at home to Hull. Their defence is leaky, combined with the fact that Christian has 3 goals and 1 assist in his last 3. Sigurdsson has 3 goals and 4 assists in his last 6 games, highlighting that he’s Swansea’s main outlet. Pedro still starts for me but I fear his minutes will be limited soon with Willian coming back into the fold. Snodgrass gets the nod again after scoring at the weekend – he later came out and apologised for diving to win the penalty he eventually scored but hey ho, it still counted as a goal on FPL!

Up top we have Callum Wilson and Rondon. The latter played well against Chelsea and was lucky not to capitalise on a David Luiz error. He did his job and successfully frustrated the Chelsea team for 75 minutes of the game. Against Swansea I can easily see him bagging a brace if he matches his performance levels from the weekend. Finally, Benteke, who will likely be making his final appearance for the Differentials XI. His recent run of form sees his ownership sit at exactly 10.0% at the time of writing this. Let’s hope he goes out with a bang versus United.
