Differentials XI – Gameweek 19 FPL Tips – Fantasy Premier League Tips

Boxing Day football is never a let down and always brings some surprises! Here’s how the Differentials XI looked at the end of the gameweek:

Accidentally keeping in Benteke backfired then didn’t it? A missed penalty saw Cristian return a -1 score which I couldn’t help laughing at given the fact he wasn’t supposed to be in my 11. Luiz was as ever; reliable. Coleman also bagged 6. Pedro’s double helped the teams overall score while captain Antonio saw a 16 return. One point below average on the whole is reasonable given the stipulations in place with the squad. One of the stipulations we are all familiar with now is the 10% ownership threshold and with that, high flying Antonio must go!

With only one free transfer, 4 at the back is a necessity this week due to Pedro being out injured along with Pereyra.

Here’s how the Differentials XI line up:

Starting XI: Forster (5.4%), Luiz (4.0%), Rose (7.0%), Coleman (4.7%), Dawson (1.4%), Alli (5.8%), Willian (3.6%), Snodgrass (5.2%), Wilson (2.5%), Rondon (8.4%), Benteke (9.8%)

Bench: Stekelenburg (3.1%), Pedro (3.0%), Shawcross (1.7%), Pereyra (0.3%)

Inbetween the sticks, we have Forster. At home to West Brom, a clean sheet is on the cards with the Baggies only returning 3 points out of the last 12 available to them. However, Pulis will be looking to steady the ship and thus Dawson gets the nods for me too. It’s not unforeseen that that game could end 0-0. David Luiz obviously starts with his side looking to make it 13 on the bounce. Against a Stoke side it could certainly happen. Coleman is starting to be the reliable points scorer he once was and I’m thankful for that. Away to Hull is the perfect opportunity for Coleman to show some consistency in his performances. Danny Rose has been showcasing his attacking potential in recent weeks highlighting the fact it doesn’t really matter if Spurs keep a cleanie or not, he’ll still return points.

In midfield and attack the team looks at little light. Snodgrass is against Everton and his side Hull are really struggling for form. Willian was overshadowed by Pedro last weekend but hopefully he’ll benefit from the Spaniard’s injury this week. Completing the midfield is the new addition of Dele Alli. Dele’s hitting form at the right time of the season with 3 goals in his last 2. Long may it continue!

Up front is Benteke who still finds himself in my side given the fact he’s dipped back below the threshold with his horrific performance at the weekend. Accompanying him is Rondon away to Southampton and Wilson away to managerless Swansea. We are in the unfortunate state that a lot of our players are playing against each other, reducing the potential for points!
