The international break is finally over, with the midweek fixtures causing many injury worries for fantasy managers. Our FPL gameweek 12 preview will look at who the key players are in the upcoming fixtures, along with a score prediction for each fixture.

So good luck and may your arrows be green! Here’s our FPL gameweek 12 preview:

Manchester United v Arsenal

Manchester United vs Arsenal

The first and indeed one of the best games this weekend, as the Gunners travel north to face one of their fiercest rivals. This lunchtime kick-off is bound to be an extremely exciting fixture in which United would like to continue from where they left off last time out against the Swans, while Arsenal will be determined to overcome the Man United hoodoo of not having won a single league game at Old Trafford in the last decade. But can they do it this November? Only time will tell.

STAR MAN: Marcus Rashford (6.8m)

With Ibrahimovic out suspended, the young Englishman is the one to lead the line for Jose’s United side.

PREDICTION: Manchester United 2-1 Arsenal

Crystal Palace v Manchester City

Crystal Palace vs Manchester City

Having fallen down to 3rd place courtesy to a late De Roon goal in their last game, the Citizens will be determined to get back to winning ways. Palace on the other hand come into the game having narrowly lost to a brilliant Burnley side, but with a hungry Man City involved, this seems to only be going one way.

STAR MAN: Sergio Aguero (13.2m)

Averaging a goal every 93 minutes, a weak Palace defence is all he needs.

PREDICTION: Crystal Palace 1-3 Manchester City

Everton v Swansea

Everton vs Swansea

Both sides were hammered last time out and both will want to get back to winning ways as soon as possible. With the Lukaku-Bolasie factor that the Toffees possess, it seems that the Swans will have to wait another week.

STAR MAN: Romelu Lukaku (9.8m)

He will be determined to get his team back to winning ways by leading from the front.

PREDICTION: Everton 2-0 Swansea

Southampton v Liverpool

Southampton vs Liverpool

The league leaders Liverpool are playing some amazing football and also have the results to go with it. They go up against a Saints side who are on the back of a shocking defeat against Hull. Liverpool would love another five or six goal haul but against Southampton this doesn’t seem to be as likely.

STAR MAN: Philippe Coutinho (8.7m)

His magic will be something Klopp will look to to add a bit of spark throughout the match.

PREDICTION: Southampton 1-2 Liverpool

Stoke v Bournemouth

Stoke City vs Bournemouth

A match of two evenly placed sides on the table. Stoke who’s fortunes have changed in recent weeks now sit comfortably placed in 12th as a result of a hard fought draw against the Hammers. Bournemouth have struggled lately as they haven’t won any of their last 3 games. It seems likely it’ll be an end to end game with each team settling for a point in the end.

STAR MAN: Ryan Shawcross (4.9m)

Ryan is finally fit with some game time in his legs, and is all set to anchor his defence.

PREDICTION: Stoke City 0-0 Bournemouth

Sunderland v Hull

Sunderland vs Hull

Both teams are on the back of very welcome and much needed victories last time out and will be poised to build on it, but the pace and talent Defoe possesses means we expect this to end in a home win.

STAR MAN: Jermain Defoe (7.3m)

19 FPL points in the last 2 games, he is definitely the guy in form.

PREDICTION: Sunderland 2-1 Hull

Watford v Leicester

Watford vs Leicester City

The reigning champions sit 14th on the table with only 1 point separating them and a relegation spot after having drawn last time out against Spurs, and they come up against a Watford side who were given a proper thumping when they travelled to Anfield a week ago but still sit comfortably in the top half of the table. It seems like it’ll be a well fought game with both sides wanting the 3 points.

STAR MAN: Riyad Mahrez (9.1m)

He definitely needs to step up if Leicester are to have any chance of overcoming the Hornets.

PREDICTION: Watford 1-2 Leicester City

Spurs v West Ham

Tottenham vs West Ham

Spurs are still undefeated this season and this doesn’t look set to change this week as they come up against an out of stride Hammers side. An easy win for the men in white.

STAR MAN: Harry Kane (10.7m)

He is back up and running and should be on the scoresheet against a leaky Hammers defence.

PREDICTION: Tottenham 3-0 West Ham

Middlesbrough v Chelsea

Middlesbrough vs Chelsea

After having scraped a point last time out against Man City, Boro host a Chelsea side that has simply been unstoppable and with the firepower the Blues possess, this looks to be an easy one for the Londoners.

STAR MAN: Pedro (7.2m)

With Costa and Hazard both doubts through injury, he is definitely the man to look to.

PREDICTION: Middlesbrough 0-2 Chelsea

West Brom v Burnley

West Brom vs Burnley

Burnley are in great form with no losses in their previous three fixtures whereas in contrast, The Baggies have won just one in their last three and seem to be struggling to find any sort of momentum to push on from their place in the league. Both teams will be looking for a win but it looks likely that it’ll be a fixture where goals are a rarity.

STAR MAN: Ben Foster (4.7m)

It seems he and his counterpart will be having a busy evening in-between the sticks.

PREDICTION: West Brom 1-0 Burnley
