FPL Gameweek 28 Preview – Fantasy Premier League Tips

After the much more action packed gameweek 27, we have the dreaded blank GW28 for most teams this weekend, with just four games being played. If you’ve left it until now to start thinking about this gameweek, you’re probably already in big trouble. Good luck fielding an 11 this week!

Bournemouth vs West Ham

Bournemouth have not managed to win any of their last 8 games in the Premier League and now find themselves drifting towards the danger zone. Their opponents West Ham have won just one of their last five games and will be looking to bounce back after the defeat at home to Chelsea. This will surely be a closely fought game with both sides having their fair share of chances.

STAR MAN: Andre Ayew (7.1m)

Has been out of the action for a long time but is slowly getting back into the game and even popped up with an assist last gameweek. Could be a great differential for this week.

PREDICTION: Bournemouth 1-2 West Ham

Everton vs West Brom

Everton put up a great fight last weekend against Spurs away from home. With their main striker Lukaku in such great form and their amazing form since the turn of the year, the Baggies might find it difficult to break down the Toffees defence, especially seeing as they’ll have the home crowd behind them!

STAR MAN: Romelu Lukaku (10.0m)

The big man has been influential everytime Everton attack and is also in chase of the golden boot which will further motivate him to bang in the goals for his team.

PREDICTION: Everton 3-1 West Brom

Hull vs Swansea

A game at the very bottom of the league table as the Swans travel to the KCOM Stadium. The Swans are doing all they can to get further up the table with a brilliant attacking display against the Clarets, while Hull on the other hand are winless in the last 3 and will be desperate for the sweet taste of victory. It seems to be an end to end game with both sides getting a decent amount of chances to take home the 3 points.

STAR MAN: Fernando Llorente (6.4m)

He has the form as well as the fixture & is well worthy of the investment.

PREDICTION: Hull 3-2 Swansea

Liverpool vs Burnley

Liverpool finally turned things around last week with a win against the resilient Gunners and they seem to be hungry for more. Burnley on the other hand have one of the poorest results record in the league when it comes to away fixtures. It seems to be a one sided affair, but you never know with Liverpool when they face sides from the lower half of the table. Last time these 2 met in the league, Burnley stunned us all so could it happen again?

STAR MAN: Sadio Mane (9.5m)

3 goals & an assist in the last 3 Premier league games, so it will be hard to digest if he doesn’t net again.

PREDICTION: Liverpool 3-0 Burnley
