The 3rd gameweek of this new FPL season dawns upon us and along with it comes an FPL gameweek 3 preview! A few peppy fixtures, in which wise & slightly cheeky investments could reap massive reward.

TOTLIV

Tottenham vs. Liverpool

What a game to kick start gameweek 3 with; 2 Premier League giants go head to head in a lunch time kick off. Spurs come into this game after just scraping a victory last time out, and will be determined to their usual style of play flowing, while Liverpool are on the back of a shocking loss against the newly promoted Clarets. However, do keep in mind that Liverpool do raise their game for the big ones! It seems to be an open ended game with both sides having a decent amount of chances to grab the 3 points.

STAR MAN: Daniel Sturridge (10.0m)

He is back up and running after coming off the bench in the 70th minute and banging in 2 goals in the mid week cup game, and if he starts vs Spurs, you can definitely expect goals from him.

PREDICTION: Tottenham 2-2 Liverpool

CHEBUR

Chelsea vs. Burnley

Chelsea have had a good start to life under Conte having won the first 2 games of the season while Burnley on the other hand have started to provide the service to Gray which resulted in a shock win over Liverpool. Both sides have the firepower up front, and it looks to be a game that shall be decided by the goalkeepers at either end of the pitch.

STAR MAN: Eden Hazard (10.1m)

The little Belgian has sprung back to life under the new manager who has given him a much more free role, so don’t be shocked to see him score this weekend.

PREDICTION: Chelsea 3-1 Burnley

CRYBOU

Crystal Palace vs. Bournemouth

Both teams having lost their opening two fixtures will be looking to make amends when they face off at Selhurst Park. The Palace side which is stronger looking on paper definitely have the upper hand on their counterparts who have no sort of form going into the season. With the arrival of Benteke, Palace could have just the striker they have craved for.

STAR MAN: Christian Benteke (7.4m)

This man has missed his form since he left Villa and this might just be the perfect opportunity for him to make his mark.

PREDICTION: Crystal Palace 2-1 Bournemouth

EVESTK

Everton vs. Stoke

Everton have had a decent start to the season under new manager Koeman, having grabbed 4 points of a possible 6 in the last 2 games. They seem to be a team on a mission for Europe while Stoke haven’t displayed any form recently and don’t look likely to take home any points from Goodison Park.

STAR MAN: Ross Barkley (7.7m)

The young Englishman has started the season on a high and put in a strong performance in the mid week cup game. He will definitely look to get on the scoresheet in this game too.

PREDICTION: Everton 2-0 Stoke

LEISWA

Leicester City vs. Swansea

Last season’s champions have found it tough to begin with this season and with the Swans next, they face a tough task on their hands. If Swansea can somehow control the trickery and wit of Leicester’s main man Mahrez, they have a decent chance of nicking the game. Leicester on the other hand will be looking to make a comeback after their disappointing first 2 gameweeks.

STAR MAN: Jamie Vardy (9.9m)

After missing out on his first two chances, the striker will be looking to impress against a weakened Swans defence.

PREDICTION: Leicester City 2-0 Swansea City

SOUSUN

Southampton vs. Sunderland

Both teams haven’t won a single game this season with the Sunderland manager saying that his side is already in a relegation battle. The players will be looking to impress the manager and get some sort of momentum on board but the Saints have the home advantage which might just be the deciding factor when these two meet.

STAR MAN: Dusan Tadic (7.4m)

Their main man will be looking to hit form and help his team get the much needed 3 points.

PREDICTION: Southampton 1-0 Sunderland

WATARS

Watford vs. Arsenal

Both teams are desperately in need of a win with the latter having more pressure on them to produce the results. With the return of Ozil and Giroud, they could prove to be just a bit too strong for the Watford team to handle.

STAR MAN: Santi Cazorla (7.5m)

The little Spaniard grabbed two assists in his opening game and will be a key players as the Gunners look to register their first win.

PREDICTION: Arsenal 2-0 Watford

HULMUN

Hull City vs. Manchester United

Hull City look like a team that seem to have risen from the dead, proving people wrong and showing that games can be won with just 13 fit first team players while Manchester United on the other hand are scoring goals for fun, and are the team that have delivered the most FPL points so far this season. We definitely don’t see them letting up against Hull because come on, they ain’t no Leicester! It seems to be an open and shut case, with United taking home the 3 points.

STAR MAN: Zlatan Ibrahimovic (11.7m)

Because he simply can’t stop scoring. #DareToZlatan

PREDICTION: Hull City 0-4 Manchester United

WBAMID

West Brom vs. Middlesbrough

Boro have started the season on a high and will be looking to continue this form whereas the Baggies will be looking to make a comeback after a defeat at the hands of Everton on home turf. This game might just be cagey with both teams looking to defend and at least take a point from the game.

STAR MAN: Gaston Ramirez (5.5m)

Often finding himself in scoring opportunities as well as creating them, he might be crucial to breaking down that Pulis defence.

PREDICTION: West Brom 1-1 Middlesbrough

MCIWHU

Manchester City vs. West Ham

That boy, Sergio Aguero is so very much on form, having scored 3 in the last 2 Premier League games and when he is hot and running, there is no one stopping Man City. West Ham on the other hand are without any of their big guns such as Payet, Ayew, Feghouli and Carroll, and without them it looks a straightforward win for Guardiola’s City side.

STAR MAN: Sergio Aguero (13.1m)

The little Argentine is in the form of his life and definitely doesn’t look like stopping.

PREDICTION: Manchester City 3-0 West Ham
