So here is the gameweek 31 preview, which analyses each fixture and highlights the players to be considered for your FPL side for the upcoming gameweek. Good luck & may your arrows be green!

Burnley vs Stoke

The Clarets are winless from their last 7 games, including a home defeat last time out against Spurs. The Potters on the other hand are on the back of a disappointing away defeat against the Foxes & will be looking to get back in to winning ways, but keeping in mind Burnley’s stubborn performances at home, this could be a tough ask.

STAR MAN: Tom Heaton (5.1m)

It seems to be one of those games in which the English Shot Stopper wins it for his side.

PREDICTION: Burnley 1-0 Stoke

Leicester vs Sunderland

The Foxes have shown signs of reigning champions in recent weeks, winning each of their last 4 games along the way, and a home game against a dreadful Sunderland side doesn’t seem to be one that will trouble them. The Black Cats have given themselves a big ask if they are to stay in the Premier League this season. sitting 8 points adrift. With games against Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea to come before the end of the campaign, they’ll need to pick up points in games like these to give themselves a chance of survival.

STAR MAN: Jamie Vardy (9.9m)

4 goals & 2 assists in the last 4 games, he is definitely the one to consider from this match-up.

PREDICTION: Leicester 3-0 Sunderland

Watford vs West Brom

Watford finally ended their horrible run of form against the Black Cats last time out. On the contrary, the Baggies fielded a typical Pulis side and were able to play out a frustrating draw at Old Trafford. This fixture seems like it’ll be an open ended game with both sides having a fair amount of chances.

STAR MAN: Nacer Chadli (6.0m)

He has been out of sorts lately, but this week could be the one he gets back amongst the points.

PREDICTION: Watford 0-2 West Brom

Man Utd vs Everton

This fixture features 2 sides sitting very close to each other on the league table with each of these sides getting unwanted results last time out. Everton were outplayed in the Merseyside Derby and will be looking to get over that result as soon as possible. Meanwhile, United will want to come back strong after falling victim to the Pulis effect in gameweek 30. It seems it’ll be an end to end game with both sides fighting for the vital points in the race for Europa League.

STAR MAN: Zlatan Ibrahimovic (11.4m)

The Swedish striker is back from suspension & he will definitely want to highlight his importance in the United side.

PREDICTION: Manchester United 3-1 Everton

Arsenal vs West Ham

Nothing seems to be going right for the Hammers as they are on a 4 game losing streak, while Arsenal are doing no good as well having shared the points at home against Man City last time out. The Gunners will definitely be looking to get back in the race for the top 4 and with the fire power they possess, this fixture seems like it’ll be going just one way.

STAR MAN: Alexis Sanchez (11.6m)

The Chilean didn’t play well last time around and will be looking to be ruthless against the Hammers.

PREDICTION: Arsenal 3-1 West Ham

Hull vs Middlesbrough

A tie at the very bottom of the league table. Middlesbrough seem to have completely lost track as they’re winless since the first fixture with Swansea back in December! The Tigers on the other hand surprised everyone with a hard fought for win against against the Hammers. It is a must win game for both sides but with the home support behind Hull, it seems they’ll be edging the tie.

STAR MAN: Kamil Grosicki (5.5m)

The lad has 4 assists in the last 5 games & is proving to be an important part of the Hull City side.

PREDICTION: Hull 2-0 Middlesbrough

Southampton vs Crystal Palace

The Eagles did what most sides have failed to do this season and beat league toppers Chelsea, reducing their lead at the top of the table to 7 points. Their opponents, the Saints, have had a poor season in comparison to their previous two seasons and will be looking to finish the league inside the top 10 at least. Both teams will be looking to get the three points and this might just prove to be an exciting game with both sides having their fair share of chances.

STAR MAN: Christian Benteke (7.0m)

The Big Belgian has finally found his goalscoring boots after blanking for 7 games on the trot & he will be looking to take this form away to St. Mary’s.

PREDICTION: Southampton 1-1 Crystal Palace

Swansea vs Tottenham

This Swansea side will definitely be disappointed, having got just the 1 point even after putting in a strong performance against Middlesbrough, while Spurs have been amazing this season, and sit comfortably placed 2nd on the league table with 1 game in hand. The Swans will definitely want to get something out of this game but with the form Spurs are in, it seems like it’ll be an open & shut case.

STAR MAN: Dele Alli (8.9m)

The Englishman came pretty close to getting on the scoresheet last time out and will definitely be looking to make amends this time around.

PREDICTION: Swansea 1-3 Tottenham

Chelsea vs Man City

The Wednesday evening kick off brings a showdown between 2 Premier League giants. Both sides are on the back of disappointing results, and will definitely be looking to get straight back with a win. A Man City win could give a small glimmer of hope to their fans in their pursuit of Chelsea. It looks to be a cracker of a game with Chelsea looking all set to take advantage of playing at the Bridge.

STAR MAN: Eden Hazard (10.2m)

The Belgian has delivered in 4 of the last 5 home games & will be looking to single handedly guide his side home.

PREDICTION: Chelsea 1-1 Manchester City

Liverpool vs Bournemouth

Both Liverpool & the Cherries have been playing some amazing football lately, and both of them are undefeated in each of their last 4 games. Liverpool have all the firepower needed to dominate this fixture till the very end, but keeping in mind the unpredictable nature of the Reds against sides from the lower half of the table, this fixture could end up pretty much like the reverse fixture.

STAR MAN: Philippe Coutinho (8.2m)

The Brazilian delivered in the Merseyside Derby & with Mane an injury doubt, he will surely prove to be a threat against the Cherries defence.

PREDICTION: Liverpool 3-1 Bournemouth
