It’s that time of the year, when wildcards are played, chips are laid out on the table and we all dream of those big FPL hauls. Our points total for the gameweek 36 going into triple figures as we skip to work the week following. Grand plans, great ambitions. After all, Arsenal and Southampton both have a double gameweek, followed by a massive double gameweek 37. What could go wrong?
Well Arsenal have severely dropped in attacking output for one and have Manchester United as a fixture, who’s defence have been solid. Southampton have little to play for and there seems to be dissent amongst the squad for two. Chelsea vs. Middlesbrough, Manchester City vs. Crystal Palace and Tottenham vs. West Ham all seem tastier and more likely to gift us FPL points for the third.
So whilst general FPL Law states we should be making the most of this double gameweek, this is by no means the easiest double gameweek to navigate.
