S**THOUSE XI – FPL Gameweek 24 Tips – Fantasy Premier League Tips

Well it had to happen sooner or later as this week, the fantastic run of gleaming red hot arrows came to a disastrous end as my team of ‘so called’ s**thousers scored a ridiculous score of 49 points, 14 ABOVE the average. One silver lining is that my overall rank still remains in the 4 million club, sitting tantalisingly above the mark at 4,000,698.

Let’s look how this freak occurrence developed with big news about gameweek 24 too.

Goalkeeper

Jakupovic (11) This guy along with Hull’s new manager maybe just the ticket to another season in FPL… maybe.

Defence

(C) Robertson (12) Seemed a great idea at the time. Thank God he didn’t pick up any bonus points.

Kaboul (9) A poor performance from Cech allowed Kaboul’s shot to break through. Maybe I should sign him!

Ward (6) The lowest scoring defender picked up a mere 6 points; that’s half the total from last week’s full XI!

Total defensive points – Do we have to do this? 38.

Midfield

Dier (3) Dependable Dier – needed a show from him and got it. 3 points.

Barry (0) His time is up I reckon which is no good for this team. He has to go.

Fellaini (0) Another waste of valuable space in the S**thouse XI! He has to go.

Yacob (2) I really can depend on this guy and I mean that. His record since GW1: 3-2-2-1-2-1-1-2-0-0-2-3-2-2-1-2-2-2-2-2-2-3-2.

Forwards

Diomande (0) Another no show. This is not acceptable and he has to go.

Vokes (6) A goal from Sam Vokes is the icing on the cake.

Barrow (0) This guy is so sh*t, he now plays for Leeds United! He has to go.

Transfers

As you can see from the amount of “He has to go”’s, the 2nd Wildcard has been unleashed and my current team bears many similarities with last season. Let’s take a quick walk through it.

Jakupovic & Schmeichel – Hopefully this was a one off and between the two of these keepers, I can minimise the points.

Fernandez, Cook, Billy Jones, Barragan & Kaboul – What a defence.

DierArter, Henderson, Yacob & Xhaka – A bad boy midfield who should rake in the yellow cards.

Batshuayi, Musa & Vokes – Kept faith in one of my strikers as hopefully I can use Vokes in the tough games only. Batshuayi game time over the last 7 games is amazing: 2-1-0-6-7-4-1.

Captain

For gameweek 24, it has to be Fernandez – an away tie to Manchester City!
