As we approach the halfway stage of this, so far, epic season, another series of slow and lethargic performances riddle though the S**thouse XI team. With the all-time Premier League bad boy, Gareth Barry, being the surprisingly highest scorer tied with fellow brute, Francis Coquelin, a drop of over 30k was achieved. Great job! Our rank sits at a beautiful 3,949,911 which is tantalisingly close to the initial optimistic target of 4,000,000.
Let’s recap the S**thouse XI’s gameweek 18 before taking a look at the setup for the New Year’s celebrations in round 19.
Goalkeeper
Marshall (2) – A double of points is a fair return from a keeper that conceded 3 goals at home to title contenders, Manchester City. Imagine if Aguero was playing!
Defenders
Kone (0) – 3 goals conceded, 1 yellow card and a BFZ! (Big Fat Zero)
Robertson (1) – A single for the Hull, out of position defender playing on the left wing.
Chambers (2) – A duo of points for the Boro centre back as Burnley grab a late goal.
Ogbonna (2) – Another couple of points for Ogbonna was welcomed as Swansea snatch a consolation goal.
Total defensive points – 7!
Midfielders
Dier (2) – Standard Eric played pretty poorly and managed to stay away from the points, even after his team smashed 4 past the Saints!
Barry (3) – 23 games away from being the most played Premier League player, and he is S**thouse gold!
Captain Yacob (4) – A double doubled is 4 and I cannot complain about that, especially when it’s Claudio Yacob; he’s hard as nails.
Behrami (1) – Picking up an injury in the game against Palace, Valon is a doubt for the next round. Get well soon lad!
Coquelin (3) – Another bad boy on a good day, maybe he was still hungover. 3 points.
Forwards
Diomande (1) – The lone striker picked up a lone point. Total S**thouse.
The Bench (12) – The bench scored over half my full team so thank god I nailed it! Just after I ‘bigged’ Barrow up for playing a part in every game this season, he gets rested! Doh!
Now let’s look at gameweek 19 and with Kane’s penalty miss, maybe I should draft him in! Here’s how the S**thouse XI look:
Transfer – Better be safe than sorry so Behrami makes way for the nutcase that is, Marouane Fellaini.
Captain – Claudio keeps the armband this week.
Good luck all, and save those reds for me!
Team value?
97.7m! Whats your team at now?
Mine is about 105 – thought this team might be even lower than 97.7 but I guess several players are low ownership and won’t go down as much!
