Our initial fears were quashed as players like Lowton (14), Barry (10) and Vokes (9) were not enough to catapult the SHITHOUSE XI out of the 2 million mark! Their points however did result in marginal Green Arrows and I suppose over the course of a season, certain SHITHOUSE XI players will let you down, shame 3 of them did in just the 2nd gameweek! With a score of 52 points and a rank of 2,524,934 there is work to be done to reach the goal of a rank of over 3 million and this week’s score will hopefully be the highest of the season.
Here’s how the SHITHOUSE XI looked at the end of the week:
Goalkeeper
Gomes – The Watford keeper got us off to a great start with a single point as he conceded 2 goals to Chelsea.
Defenders
Robertson – This Hull City express needs to slow down, as Robertson gets 7 points! Surely it can’t last?
Francis – Maybe we should look to some of last seasons hero’s, as Francis fails to let us down. 2 points
Lowton – Double Digits for the Burnley man, which is definitely not in the script!
Djilobodji – The man who has a name no one can pronounce, hits the jackpot with a single FPL point
Total Defensive Points – Do we have to do this? 25…
Midfielders
Dier – One player that is sticking to the plan and despite a Spurs clean sheet, Dier only obtains 1 point due to his second yellow card of the season. Great job
Barry – Gareth takes a seat on the naughty step as he picks up 3 bonus points, after scoring for Everton last weekend.
Gueye – Unlike his partner, Gueye is in the good books as he managed to keep off the score sheet, 2 points.
Yacob – Claudio was a late entry last season, but cements his position in this seasons side with just 2 points.
Forwards
Diomande – The Hull City forward failed to repeat his heroics of gameweek 1 and settles for nothing. He did score in the EFL Cup however…
Vokes – Quite a partnership Gray and Vokes struck up last season, yet I still believe this will not continue in the Premier League despite his goal and bonus, 9 points unfortunately.
So, now onto this weeks SHITHOUSE XI:
Transfers
After not making a change last time out, regretfully we can make 2 this week.
Can (OUT) -> Gooch (IN) – With a name like Gooch, he has to feature right?
Borini (OUT) -> Ulloa (IN) – Reverting to last seasons out of form players is this weeks trend.
Captain – Gooch it is! Lets hope for a cracking debut.
That’s all from the SHITHOUSE XI, but remember to save those red arrows for us….
