Differentials XI – FPL Gameweek 24 Tips – Fantasy Premier League Tips

Absolute trash week last week so erm… sorry about that! A Craig Dawson goal practically saved the week, which says much about the overall standard of the side, I’d say.

Aside from that defensive return, a Vertonghen cleanie and a Benteke assist were all the rest of the side could muster during what was a wholly disappointing week.

All change ahead of this weekend, with favourable looking games for a number of the better sides. Hopefully one or two of the names below can help you get those green arrows this week.

Goalkeepers

Two home choices this week for me, with Ederson (6.7%) the one in the lineup. Newcastle are in pretty poor form of late, so a trip to the Etihad is the complete opposite of what they need right now. On the bench, Butland (2.1%) comes in as I fancy the new manager bounce to kick in slightly as Paul Lambert and Stoke welcome Huddersfield to the Bet365.

Defenders

Have you seen the video of Robertson’s (2.7%) high press last week against City? It’s awesome, with the Scot displaying bundles of energy as he chases down the ball. It was another strong display by the left back, whose Liverpool side visit Swansea on Monday night. Before that I’ve got Danilo (2.7%) in action against Newcastle, and a pair of London club defenders on the road, both on the south coast. First up Rudiger (3.6%) travels to Brighton, before Sanchez (0.5%) goes down to Southampton with Spurs. Regarding the Chelsea man, I’m thinking he’ll start on the basis he was rested in midweek while others played 120 and Cahill remains injured. Buried on my bench is Zouma (1.9%), offering a Stoke double up there. If Newcastle score and Huddersfield don’t, I’ll regret that, but it’s worth the risk.

Midfielders

Much like Robertson, in the middle Oxlade-Chamberlain (3.1%) gets a start largely based on last weekend’s display. The ex-Arsenal man scored and assisted and is beginning to look like he’s thriving away from the Emirates. Speaking of which, Walcott (0.8%) at £7.1m looks a good price to me. I’ve put him on the bench this week and although the game with West Brom may come too soon for him, I don’t think it’ll be long before he establishes himself in a side that has badly lacked pace all year. Back in London, Lanzini (2.8%) comes in as West Ham take on the Bournemouth at home, while Martial (2.6%) also features after his strong showing against Stoke on Monday night. Finally, Silva (9.0%) comes in as I believe he’ll return this week after missing some games due to family issues. City need to ensure their defeat/blip doesn’t become a run, so Pep will surely want the Spaniard back in the team this week.

Forwards

Up front, I’m once again pinning hopes on Lacazette (8.5%) and praying this is the week he scores again, with Palace the visitors to North London. Partnering him is the new man Tosun (0.7%), who looked pretty lively against Spurs last weekend. He has good ability to hold the ball up and I think he’ll thrive in a physical battle with West Brom. On the bench, Wilson (4.1%) takes a seat after a solid display against Arsenal last Sunday.

Good luck in getting those green arrows this week!
