FPL Captaincy Analysis – Gameweek 11 Tips – Fantasy Premier League Tips

Onto gameweek 11 and the weeks are now flying, but with many mini leagues starting to take shape, the captaincy picks are now all the more important. With that said, before we analyse this week’s picks, here’s how last week’s FPL Captaincy Analysis did:

1. Sergio Aguero – 0 points
2. Alexis Sanchez – 2 points
3. Mohamed Salah – 4 points
Differential – Wilfried Zaha – 7 points
Gamble – Dele Alli – 2 points

Now onto this week’s picks:

1. Gabriel Jesus (ARS)

One of the biggest problems with Man City is despite them being absolutely fantastic in attack, Pep keeps rotating! Jesus didn’t feature in their midweek game against Napoli so I’m assuming that’ll mean he will be starting this week, and a City attacker has to be number one for captaincy as they take on Arsenal at home, a team who usually struggle defensively away from home. In addition to this, considering City’s form, you’d be mad not to be considering Jesus! He has scored 6 goals this season, and could increase that tally this week.

2. Mohamed Salah (WHU)

Despite missing a penalty last week and perhaps showing signs of inconsistency, I’d still argue that Salah has still been one of LFC’s best players this season. He’s scored 5 goals and assisted three times this season, and scored in their midweek game against Maribor, taking his UCL tally to 5 goals. He’s been in terrific form throughout the season and this week, Liverpool take on West Ham, who have been defensively poor all season, so Salah should certainly fancy his chances against the Hammers!

3. Jamie Vardy (STK)

Despite blanking for a few weeks, Vardy broke his drought by scoring against Everton last time out, and he looked a rejuvenated man under Claude Puel. This week, Leicester take on Stoke, a side with only two clean sheets all season, and if Vardy plays like he did against Everton, then he should definitely be able to exploit that Stoke defence! He’s only owned by 14% so he could prove to be a differential option should he do well!

Differential – Eden Hazard (MUN)

Being honest, this is a gamble as well as a differential, on the basis that Chelsea are playing Man United, one of the best teams defensively who have kept 7 clean sheets already this season and are managed by a manager notoriously known for parking the bus successfully. However, if Hazard can perform like he has done in previous seasons, then the game could shape up to have a lot of goals. Hazard is only owned by 5%, and with a goal and an assist in his previous two games, he could surprise a few people!

Gamble – Harry Kane (CRY)

Everyone seemed to believe that Kane suffered an ACL last week, and surprised a fair few when he was announced in the starting 11 against Real Madrid! It wasn’t his best game, however he did get an assist against Real and may not be able to start again so soon after his injury. If Kane is starting, they play Crystal Palace this week, who have struggled all season at the back. After hammering Madrid, Spurs will surely smash Palace!
