Well what can I say, a massive 58 points extending my deficit to the new kid on the block (@FPL_Junior) to 60 points! I have a lot of work to do to come out dead last!
Overall ranks for the two teams are:
4,693,401 – @FPL_vs
4,932,136 – @FPL_Junior
Let’s look at Junior’s team from gameweek 10 and his plans for gameweek 11 first.
Goalkeeper
Fabianski (2) – Swansea continue to be poor at home.
Defence
Fosu-Mensah (2) – Palace are still yet to keep a clean sheet this season.
Simpson (1) – Back to normal, a single.
Lowton (6) – Another clean sheet for Burnley. He’s on the brink of leaving the S**thouse XI.
Midfielders
Barry (1) – Gareth picks up his first yellow card of the season.
Krychowiak (1) – A single as West Brom suffer another loss.
Romeu (2) – A double brings his 11th blank of the season.
Gueye (2) – What more can I say? He’s fantastic…ly bad.
Cork (6) – A conservative captain choice, but it didn’t turn out too badly.
Forwards
Rodriguez (2) – That’s the Rodriguez I bought! When Pulis is your manager, you’ll get very few attacking chances.
Gray (5) – An assist from Gray isn’t ideal.
Bench – 8 points on the bench, mostly coming from a Zanka clean sheet. A worry from Lowe who is only able to make a sub appearance once again.
Now onto this week’s team:
Captain – Simpson is the captain as he takes on Manchester City.
Transfer – Lowton is replaced by Cedric whose fixtures take a turn for the worst.
Onto my team now:
Goalkeeper
Pope (8) – An away clean sheet for the Burnley keeper with a save point and bleeding bonus to boot, brilliant!
Defence
Tarkowski (7) – Another clean sheet for another Burnley defender.
Dunk (5) – Clean sheet number 3. Can it get any worse!?
Cook (15) – Yes, yes it can. Steve Cook scores, keeps a clean sheet and takes all 3 bonus. Nightmare.
Gibbs (2) – Finally some respite with West Brom being typically rubbish.
Zouma (1) – Kurt gets MOTM for my team with a single.
Midfielders
Hayden (2) – Beginning to be a cult hero at the S**thouse XI with 2.
Cork (3) – Has it in him to score but not this week thankfully.
Gueye (4) – At least the captaincy choice was correct! Unlike my normal team.
Forwards
Ayew (2) – Blank for the Swansea front man.
Niasse (9) – Same cannot be said for the Everton equivalent, picking up maximum points at home to Watford.
Bench (2) – 3 Injured players doesn’t look good!
Transfer – Pope OUT > Foster IN
Captain – Lets keep it with Gueye!
Good luck and save those reds for us!
