FPL S**THOUSE XI – Gameweek 38 Tips – Fantasy Premier League Tips

Another gameweek and mixed scores for both of our S**thouse XIs! Before we look at each team in more detail, here’s the current overall ranks:

5,246,766 – @FPL_vs
5,395,710 – @FPL_Junior

@FPL_Junior‘s team (39)

Goalkeeper

Foster (10) – Yet another clean sheet and a handful of bonus against a top 6 side!

Defenders

Gibbs (7) – The double hasn’t worked out.
Hadergjonaj (7) – A clean sheet away at the Etihad. This week’s selections at the back have been poor.
Ward (0) – A 5-0 thrashing during Wenger’s final home game.
Lowton (0) – Likewise for the second Burnley defender.
Gosling (1) – A single after a cameo off the bench.

Midfielders

Cork (2) – Only 3 returns all season and hopefully that doesn’t change.
Gueye (7) – Three returns in four games after an assist and a couple of bonus.
Ndiaye (1) – 4 yellow cards in 5 games. This man is a yellow card magnet.
Capoue (2) – No goal or assist since gameweek 8. The one that got away.

Forwards

Rodriguez (2) – A win at home to Spurs but he’s kept quiet.

Bench (18) – Lossl and Francis both pick up a clean sheet whilst my two other strikers blank.

Now onto this week’s line-up:

Transfer – Olsson (OUT) -> Yoshida (IN)

Captain – Yoshida takes the duty of this season’s final captain.

@FPL_vs ‘s team (74)

Goalkeeper

Fabianski (7) – To kick the atrocious week off we have Fabianski between the sticks keeping a clean sheet against Bournemouth and then making 7 saves against Southampton!

Defenders

Lascelles (3) – One of the few not to let us down, with a double blank.
Zabaleta (12) – A double clean sheet against Leicester and Manchester United! Where did that form come from?
Nyom (5) – Similarly, West Brom managed a clean sheet against Spurs with a 1-0 win. Unfortunately they were ultimately relegated and won’t get to feature in this team next season.

Midfielders

Livermore (22) – I gave him the armband to redeem himself, not score the winner against Spurs!
Cork (2) – One of our few blanks.
McArthur (10) – Where has this form come from? He has scored 21% of his points in the last 2 weeks!
King (2) – A double gameweek, yet King blanks in both. Perfect.

Forwards

Diouf (2) – 90 minutes played, 2 points.
Rodriguez (2) – Not to get outdone, Jay matches Diouf.
Perez (7) – There’s always one.

Bench (26) – It could have been a lot worse, with 3 clean sheets on the bench.

Now onto this week:

Captain – New boy, Bong, takes the armband against Liverpool.

Transfer – Bong & Stephens (IN) -> Steve Cook & McArthur (OUT)

Good luck, and save those reds for us!
