Gameweek 10 is upon us and, as with every week, you’ll be looking at how to maximise your points and achieve the ranking goal you had set in your mind for gameweek 10. Well, here is a bit of advice which might help you succeed in doing so.

So good luck & may your arrows be green!

Mancheter United vs Tottenham

Gameweek 10 kicks off with a cracker of a fixture with Mourinho & his boys welcoming the free flowing Spurs side at the Theatre of Dreams. United have struggled in recent weeks after a draw against Liverpool and a shock defeat against Huddersfield & as a result, Pochettino’s boys have closed in on them for 2nd place. Spurs have been phenomenal in away games this season, but could face a tough outing this time around against Jose Mourinho, who might yet again be plotting another tactical masterclass.

STAR MAN: Harry Kane (12.7m)

You’re doing the FPL thing wrong, if you still don’t own him.

PREDICTION: Manchester United 2-2 Tottenham

Arsenal vs Swansea

Arsenal indeed came back strong after the shock defeat at Vicarage Road with a convincing victory against the Toffees. AOL (Alexis, Ozil, Lacazette) started together for the very first time in the league this season, and their performance in a way resulted in Ronald Koeman losing his job. If the Gunners plan to continue from where they left off, it could be a long afternoon for the Swans.

STAR MAN: Alexis Sanchez (11.8m)

The little Chilean is a risk worth taking.

PREDICTION: Arsenal 2-0 Swansea

Crystal Palace vs West Ham

The Eagles, after having thumped the Champions a fortnight ago, weren’t able to build on it last time around at St. James Park. The Hammers on the other hand are in a horrendous run of form themselves, with Bilic reportedly being given 2 games to save his job. Both sides are in need of some confidence and more importantly, the 3 points. This game will definitely tell us which side wants it more.

STAR MAN: Michail Antonio (7.5m)

He is surely the man Bilic will be looking up to, if fit, to fire the Hammers to the 3 points.

PREDICTION: Crystal Palace 1-2 West Ham

Liverpool vs Huddersfield

The Terriers are definitely in dreamland after having handed Man Utd their first league defeat this season, which proved to be their 1st win against the Reds in 65 years. This time around, Wagner and his boys travel to Anfield with the hope of delivering something similar. On the contrary, the side from Merseyside were hammered last time around by a ruthless Spurs side all courtesy to LOLvren’s defensive masterclass. Klopp will definitely be under pressure, having won just 1 of the last 6 league games and will want nothing less than the 3 points.

STAR MAN: Mohamed Salah (9.1m)

The Egyptian is about to explode.

PREDICTION: Liverpool 4-0 Huddersfield

Watford vs Stoke

The Hornets have been playing some amazing football lately and definitely have the results to go with it as they sit as high as 6th on the league table. In contrast, Mark Hughes’ side sit 17th on the table, having shipped in the maximum goals as of now (20). With Watford’s attack firing, it seems to be an easy home win.

STAR MAN: Richarlison (6.3m)

With returns in each of the last 5 games, he is still owned by just 12.2% of FPL managers. Perfect time to ship him in with his fixtures looking even more favourable.

PREDICTION: Watford 2-0 Stoke

West Brom vs Manchester City

West Brom have not won a single game in their last five Premier League fixtures and the manager is certainly under a little bit of pressure with his side not doing well from the attacking perspective either. They are up against a Manchester City team that seem uncatchable at the moment with most of the experts already backing them to win the league title. Certainly seems like another win for Pep’s men to cherish.

STAR MAN: Gabriel Jesus (10.6m)

After blanking last gameweek, he will be looking to get himself back amongst the goals for his team.

PREDICTION: West Brom 1-3 Manchester City

Bournemouth vs Chelsea

The Cherries find themselves in the bottom three of the league but had managed to win their last game away from home at the BET365 and will be looking to continue that form. The Blues came from behind to beat Watford last gameweek and Conte’s men will be determined not to slip up again.

STAR MAN: Eden Hazard (10.6m)

The Belgian has found form with an assist in his previous match and he will be looking to guide his team home in this fixture.

PREDICTION: Bournemouth 0-2 Chelsea

Brighton vs Southampton

Brighton have been decent so far this season and you could say that they have adapted to the Premier League well. Southampton on the other hand are just one point better off. Both teams won their previous fixture and will be looking to push on from here but the side playing at home should have the upper hand in the fixture.

STAR MAN: Pascal Groß (5.8m)

Has been pivotal in the Brighton attacking play and is sure to play a role on home soil.

PREDICTION: Brighton 1-0 Southampton

Leicester vs Everton

Both these clubs are managerless after having sacked their respective managers recently. This just adds to the tension and pressure in both the camps to attain a result in this gameweek. Both teams will be going all guns blazing and are sure to slip up in defence and leak a few goals.

STAR MAN: Jamie Vardy (8.6m)

It’s about time he had his party again!

PREDICTION: Leicester 2-2 Everton

Burnley vs Newcastle

Burnley and Newcastle have been playing really good football and managed to get results against the teams that are around them, resulting in them both being in the top half of the table. Burnley do have a defence that is capable of leaking goals and the Newcastle attack will be looking to take advantage of that.

STAR MAN: Joselu (5.5m)

His agility is bound to cause problems within the Burnley Defence.

PREDICTION: Burnley 0-1 Newcastle
