Gameweek 11 FPL Preview – Fantasy Premier League Tips

After an eventful gameweek 10 and a busy European midweek, the Premier League is back with an amazing set of fixtures which are certainly going to be a treat for the eyes. Here are our predictions and players who we think might be crucial to help you get the green arrows this week.

Stoke vs Leicester

Stoke, with a victory in their previous game, now seem to be heading in the right direction but this week face the challenge of playing the very unpredictable Foxes who have been in decent form, having not lost their previous four Premier League games. Stoke do have the home advantage for this one though so we expect an evenly contested match.

STAR MAN: Mame Biram Diouf (5.5m)

At his price, he can potentially be lethal and good value for money in attack for the Potters.

PREDICTION: Stoke 1-1 Leicester

Huddersfield vs West Brom

Both teams lost their last game but the Baggies have been in really poor form having not won a single game in their last five. However, they did show positive goalscoring signs last week against Pep’s men which might just boost their confidence. Will be a close game with both sides looking to get the three points.

STAR MAN: Jay Rodriguez (5.6m)

Has the ability to single handedly carry his team across the line.

PREDICTION: Huddersfield 0-1 West Brom

Newcastle vs Bournemouth

Newcastle lost their previous game at the hands of a Burnley team that have been performing exceptionally well this season. The Cherries on the other hand are struggling to find form this season and find themselves just a place above the bottom of the table. Things quickly need to change for them in order to get out of the spot of bother they are in.

STAR MAN:Christian Atsu (5.1m)

His pace is enough to cause trouble in the Bournemouth defence.

PREDICTION: Newcastle 2-0 Bournemouth

Southampton vs Burnley

The Saints are not having the best season so far but have managed to stay in the top ten of the league, even though they have managed to win just one of their last five fixtures. Burnley find themselves in 7th place, level on points with Liverpool in 6th. A win again could see them placed sixth in the table which is what will be on the minds of the players. Should make up for a fiesty affair.

STAR MAN: Manolo Gabbiadini (6.6m)

The striker started off slowly but has finally picked up pace and will be crucial for the Saints.

PREDICTION: Southampton 2-2 Burnley

Swansea vs Brighton

With Swansea, good performances have been few and far so far this season and as a result, they find themselves just a point above the drop zone. Brighton on the other hand, as new comers, have certainly surprised a few and given good performances until now. The Swans will be looking to put an end to their miserable form.

STAR MAN: Tammy Abraham (5.9m)

A rising star in the Swansea line up who has been in on the goalscoring action quite often in the previous few games and is sure to continue his form.

PREDICTION: Swansea 2-1 Brighton

West Ham vs Liverpool

The Hammers haven’t won any of their last three league games and Liverpool finally got back to winning ways last weekend. West Ham currently find themselves with just nine points this season and they will be looking to improve upon their tally. Klopp’s men are eyeing up the mountain to climb too as they are already twelve points behind the league leaders and surely cannot afford to drop any more points in the coming few fixtures.

STAR MAN: Mohammed Salah (9.2m)

Who other than this man to be the hero of the match for Liverpool!

PREDICTION: West Ham 1-3 Liverpool

Tottenham vs Crystal Palace

Spurs are on the back of a minor setback after they lost last weekend away at Old Trafford.  This could be considered major as it leaves them eight points behind the league leaders, but they would’ve had a confidence boost midweek after comfortably seeing off Real Madrid and securing their place in the last 16 in Europe. Palace on the other hand are still bottom of the league but have shown signs of revival in their last three games. Considering the facts, this should be an easy Spurs victory at Wembley.

STAR MAN: Dele Alli (9.3m)

This man was on fire midweek and we expect it to continue.

PREDICTION: Tottenham 2-0 Crystal Palace

Manchester City vs Arsenal

Manchester City are running away with it by the look of things at the moment and there seems to be no one who is even close to stopping them. However, this fixture might be a test for the City defence as they face a Gunners side who are determined to perform and score against any opposition they face. With the likes of Alexis, Özil and Lacazette possibly firing, anything is possible.

STAR MAN: Alexis Sanchez (11.8m)

The little Chilean will surely be the key if Arsenal are to bag anything here.

PREDICTION: Manchester City 3-3 Arsenal

Chelsea vs Manchester United

What a conclusion to Super Sunday we have with two heavyweights clashing off. Chelsea certainly haven’t been as good as last year whereas the Red Devils have been near perfect apart from that setback against Huddersfield. Both teams will be going all guns blazing in order to get the three points.

STAR MAN: Marcus Alonso (6.9m)

A crucial part of the Blues defence who will surely play a major part in containing the United wingers and might provide a bit of an attacking threat as well.

PREDICTION: Chelsea 0-0 Manchester United

Everton vs Watford

The Toffees are in a spot of bother after spending more than a 100 million over the summer on transfers, yet they still find themselves in the drop zone and have won just the two games so far this season. Watford on the other hand have made a good start to the season and will be looking to maintain that top ten spot for a longer period.

STAR MAN: Gylfi Sigurdsson (8.1m)

It’s about time this man delivered, justified his price tag and bailed his team out of the mess they are in.

PREDICTION: Everton 3-2 Watford
