Gameweek 25 FPL Preview – Fantasy Premier League Tips

After the midweek Carabao cup and weekend FA cup fixtures returns the Premier League for it’s 25th gameweek which has some interesting fixtures coming your way. So sit back and take a look at our predictions for the week and the players who could star for their respective teams.

Good luck and may your arrows be green!

Swansea vs Arsenal

The Swans beat an in-form Liverpool side last time around in the league and even managed to keep a clean sheet. Arsenal are on the back of a victory midweek against the Blues and will be high on confidence.

STAR MAN: Mesut Özil (9.3m)

He will be key to supplying those accurate balls in attack and maybe chip in with a goal as well.

PREDICTION: Swansea 1-3 Arsenal

West Ham vs Crystal Palace

West Ham have lost their main man Arnautovic for a month but will still be feeling that they could get the better of a Palace team that are a bit weak in defence. Presuming that the Eagles will go for the win against a depleted Hammers side, they might leave a lot of gaps in defence.

STAR MAN: Chicharito (6.7m)

Starred with a goal in the previous game and is set to start against Palace as well.

PREDICTION: West Ham 1-0 Crystal Palace

Huddersfield vs Liverpool

Huddersfield have been in decent form at home this season but are up against an LFC side who are on the back of a defeat last week against the struggling Swans and an FA cup exit. Manager Klopp and the players will be looking to make things right again by getting back on the winning track.

STAR MAN: Roberto Firmino (9.2m)

Would’ve been disappointed to not contribute in attack in the previous PL game and will be looking to make amends.

PREDICTION: Huddersfield 1-3 Liverpool

Chelsea vs Bournemouth

The Blues might have this one easy as Bournemouth have been very poor on their travels and certainly don’t seem to have that cutting edge in order to defeat the Blues at the Bridge.

STAR MAN: Eden Hazard (10.6m)

In the absence of Morata, you do expect Hazard to step up for his side.

PREDICTION: Chelsea 2-0 Bournemouth

Everton vs Leicester

Everton will be looking to get the three points in this game having not won a single game in their last five fixtures. Leicester have been in decent form and can be a threat to the Toffees on the counter.

STAR MAN: Cenk Tosun (7.5m)

The new man would like to have an instant impact on the league.

PREDICTION: Everton 2-1 Leicester

Newcastle vs Burnley

The Toon army comes into the fixture on the back of a hammering at the hands of a ruthless City side & they will surely be looking to make amends against a Clarets side that aren’t that efficient away from home.

STAR MAN: Ayoze Perez (5.2m)

He will definitely need to step up if Rafa and his boys are to get anything out of this game.

PREDICTION: Newcastle 2-1 Burnley

Southampton vs Brighton

The Saints are on an 11 game winless streak in the league and nothing seems to be going right for them as they sit 18th in the league table. Similarly, Brighton also come into this game after a hammering at the hands of Chelsea. This game promises to be an end to end one with the side that wants it the most taking home the points.

STAR MAN: Pascal Gross (5.8m)

He is the man that makes the Seagulls click in midfield.

PREDICTION: Southampton 2-2 Brighton

Manchester City vs West Brom

The Citizens are simply ruthless and have been title favourites for a long time now. An easy home win seems to be on the cards, despite West Brom perhaps being in a particularly bouyant mood following their cup win over Liverpool.

STAR MAN: Sergio Aguero (11.8m)

A hat-trick last time out, the Argentine will be poised to catch the likes of Harry Kane & Mo Salah.

PREDICTION: Manchester City 3-0 West Brom

Tottenham vs Manchester United

Saturday ends with what we can call the game of the gameweek, with 2 Premier League giants going head to head at Wembley. Spurs are on the back of a disappointing result, and will want to set things straight, but with Jose Mourinho in the opposite dugout, you can always expect the unexpected.

STAR MAN: Alexis Sanchez (11.7m)

A debut day performance to sink his arch rivals from his Arsenal days.

PREDICTION: Tottenham 0-1 Manchester United

Stoke vs Watford

The Potters ended their 4 game winless streak last time out against the Terriers as they barely escaped the relegation scrap. Watford on the contrary sit 10th in the table and will be looking to capitalise on this not so tight Potters defence to rise further up the table.

STAR MAN: Andre Gray (6.3m)

2 goals in the last 2 starts. He should be hitting the net if he starts.

PREDICTION: Stoke 1-3 Watford
