Gameweek 30 FPL Preview – Fantasy Premier League Tips

Gameweek 30 is here and all managers will be starting their preparations for the business end of the season. With a blank gameweek 31 for many teams, FPL managers will definitely be keen to make certain risky transfers which some might profit from. So good luck and hope your arrows are green.

Manchester United vs Liverpool

Gameweek 30 starts with a bang as 2 of undoubtedly the biggest clubs in the league go head to head at Old Trafford. This fixture offers a big test of resilience for Klopp’s defence, as Jose will be looking to break out and catch the attacking force that is Liverpool on the counter. We reckon a Mourinho masterclass could be on the horizon.

STAR MAN: Alexis Sanchez (11.7m)

These big ones are those the little Chilean looks forward to all season.

PREDICTION: Manchester United 2-1 Liverpool

Everton vs Brighton

Brighton have been quite unpredictable so far this season and we really don’t know when they might turn up on the pitch. Everton on the other hand haven’t had the best of results of late and they certainly didn’t expect to be in the position they find themselves in with the big names their squad possesses. The Toffees are to start racking up those 3 points or else bid goodbye to the European places.

STAR MAN: Wayne Rooney (7.2m)

The talisman in the Everton team will surely be looking to step up to the occasion for his side and lift the spirits of the team.

PREDICTION: Everton 2-1 Brighton

Huddersfield vs Swansea

Huddersfield are on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Spurs last weekend and will be looking to redeem themselves at home. Swansea on the other hand have been in amazing form having lost just one of their last five games and picking up 10 points in the process. Should be an interesting game to watch.

STAR MAN: Andre Ayew (6.8m)

With the Ayew brothers reuniting, their chemistry might be key to Swansea’s success in this game.

PREDICTION: Huddersfield 1-1 Swansea

Newcastle vs Southampton

Newcastle have managed to win just one of their last five fixtures and a downward spiral is on the cards if this form continues. Southampton are having a really bad season and will be looking to somehow ride their luck and escape relegation this season but an away win seems unlikely on this occasion.

STAR MAN: Matt Ritchie (5.4m)

The only man in the team who has been consistent throughout this season for Newcastle.

PREDICTION: Newcastle 2-1 Southampton

West Brom vs Leicester

West Brom have now lost five on the spin and are not looking like getting off the bottom of the table any time soon. Their home games are now crucial and must wins. Leicester on the other hand are going through a rough patch and this could be the perfect exploitation opportunity for the Baggies.

STAR MAN: Jay Rodriguez (5.4m)

He is the only man in this team who is capable of inflicting damage on the opposition.

PREDICTION: West Brom 2-1 Leicester

West Ham vs Burnley

Another one of those fixtures where you feel that the teams are quite evenly matched and the one who plays better on the day will be taking the points. Both teams have won just one game in their last five. Burnley, having reached the 40 point mark, will now be looking to go all out for a maximum points finish.

STAR MAN: Marko Arnautovic (7.0m)

A type of player known to provide the cutting edge on his day and could be crucial for the Hammers at home.

PREDICTION: West Ham 1-0 Burnley

Chelsea vs Crystal Palace

The Blues are on the back of a very disappointing performance against the league leaders Manchester City where they didn’t look convincing at all. They will be looking to make amends for their previous performance against this Palace team who have been poor on their travels and have no sort of momentum whatsoever.

STAR MAN: Willian (6.9m)

A bargain FPL buy who has been producing some great performances for his team.

PREDICTION: Chelsea 3-0 Crystal Palace

Arsenal vs Watford

This fixture is definitely a MUST WIN for Wenger’s boys regardless of how good the Hornets have been lately. Wenger will have the crowd on him from the first whistle but Sunday might be the day when the Gunners finally go big.

STAR MAN: Mesut Ozil (9.3m)

He is indeed the focal point of their attack.

PREDICTION: Arsenal 4-0 Watford

Bournemouth vs Tottenham

Spurs have been completely ruthless of late; they have been keeping pace with those above them and made the most of Arsenal & Chelsea’s recent poor results. The Cherries on the other hand are winless in their last 3, and will be willing to turn things around & reach the 40 point mark as soon as possible.

STAR MAN: Harry Kane (12.9m)

Kane-less is Brainless.

PREDICTION: Bournemouth 1-3 Tottenham

Stoke vs Manchester City

The league leaders are scoring & are playing around with the giants of the league for fun. This week, they come up against a side who don’t seem to pose a major threat. Another goal fest to take the Citizens closer to the title..!?

STAR MAN: Sergio Aguero (11.9m)

The little Argentine has simply been on fire lately.

PREDICTION: Stoke 0-3 Manchester City
