Gameweek 35 FPL Preview – Fantasy Premier League Tips

After a huge double gameweek last weekend, we are now into the blank gameweek with just 6 games and 12 teams in contention. With the title already decided, focus now shifts to the relegation and the top 4 battle. It is crucial planning has gone in to this week in the absence of a free hit chip!

West Brom vs Liverpool

West Brom are now 9 points from 17th place and survival surely seems like a long shot now but the team will be determined to end the season on a good note. Liverpool on the other hand do have the odd slip up against the weaker teams but surely they won’t succumb to this poor Albion side.

STAR MAN: Mohamed Salah (10.6m)

The Egyptian has been the star for the team and might be key for this game.

PREDICTION: West Bromwich Albion 0-2 Liverpool

Watford vs Crystal Palace

Palace will be feeling a lot safer now having picked up those three crucial points last weekend but the work is still not done. Watford on the other hand are in very poor form having not won a single game in their last five fixtures. Palace will be looking to take advantage of this and capitalise with an away win.

STAR MAN: Wilfried Zaha (6.9m)

He has been the dynamic winger for the Eagles and will be looking to cut into the box and cause some trouble for the Watford defence.

PREDICTION: Watford 2-2 Crystal Palace

Arsenal vs West Ham

With Arsene Wenger confirming that he will be leaving the club at the end of the season, there will be added motivation amongst the players to produce the best performances for the manager. West Ham have struggled away from home and against an Arsenal team in such good form at home, they surely don’t stand much of a chance.

STAR MAN: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (10.7m)

Having already made such an impact after joining in the winter, he really seems to be the real deal for the Gunners.

PREDICTION: Arsenal 3-0 West Ham United

Stoke vs Burnley

Stoke now face a situation in which every game is a must win if they are to stand any chance of surviving the drop. Burnley are in impeccable form and have already had their best ever season in the top flight so far with four games still to go. Before the loss to the Blues midweek, they had picked up 16 points from an available 18. The Potters will have to be at their best to avoid a defeat in this game.

STAR MAN: Xherdan Shaqiri (6.2m)

The Swiss international will be key to the Potters performance in this fixture.

PREDICTION: Stoke City 1-0 Burnley

Manchester City vs Swansea

Title won and secured, now all that’s left to do is to finish the season on a strong note for the Citizens. Swansea will be under pressure with avoiding relegation in mind but a win at the Etihad is not on the cards with the way Man City have played so far at home this season.

STAR MAN: Gabriel Jesus (10.1m)

In the absence of Aguero, he will be the man to lead the attack for City and could well be deadly against that Swansea defence.

PREDICTION: Manchester City 3-0 Swansea City

Everton vs Newcastle

The Toffees have had a season to forget for their standards and will be looking to regroup and start planning for next season by ending this season on a good note. Newcastle have been in really good form, winning each of their last four games and beating the Gunners at home last time around. This one could well go either way on Monday night…

STAR MAN: Yannick Bolasie (6.4m)

He can be really great on the counter with his pace and trickery and will surely cause trouble for that Newcastle defence.

PREDICTION: Everton 2-1 Newcastle United
