Premier Punt – FPL Gameweek 10 Tips – Fantasy Premier League Tips

Last week, we were treated to some great football with a shock result coming out of the game between Huddersfield and Manchester United, Lovren having a nightmare against Harry Kane and being hauled off early, Boufal scoring the winner and arguably the goal of the weekend for Southampton against West Brom, and Arsenal dispatching of Everton and effectively ended Ronald Koeman’s tenure as manager. Premier League is back with us again this weekend and so we’ve joined some Premier Punt 6-a-side games. Below are our line-ups for our selected games but if you think you can beat them, why not join us?

6 A-Side – Manchester United vs Spurs – FREE ENTRY

Spurs visit Old Trafford in the early kick off on Saturday and we’ve considered a few factors here. We know how Mourinho intends to play against the so-called “big 6”, playing against Liverpool a couple of weeks ago being a prime example. However, it’s worth considering the fact that United are at home and if Mourinho wants to win the league, he won’t do it playing for a draw against the top 6 home and away. We also know that Spurs are on fire at the moment, especially that man up-front, Harry Kane. However, Spurs may have suffered a slight set-back midweek when their seemingly comfortable 2-0 lead was lost thanks to a remarkable West Ham comeback at Wembley in the Thai energy drink cup.

Therefore, we’ve put together a team that tries to reflect the above. Perhaps we should’ve gone one way or the other in the search for glory but instead, we’re covering all bases. We find it more likely that Spurs will score than United successfully parking the bus against them. Therefore, our star pick this week is Harry Kane. The other star picks available are Dele Alli, Romelu Lukaku & Anthony Martial. To support him in attack, we’ve gone for the other midfield maestro, Christian Eriksen. As United will be set up to block out Spurs, we find it unlikely they’ll score many, if at all. Therefore we’ve got some Spurs defensive coverage in Kieran Trippier, who could well help out in attack, and Toby Alderweireld. For United, in case Mourinho does manage his usual 0-0 or 1-0 scoreline, we’ve got Antonio Valencia assuming defensive duties and Henrikh Mikhitaryan involved in the attack.

6 A-Side – West Brom vs Manchester City – £2 ENTRY

Come the 3pm games, we have West Brom taking on Man City. West Brom have been leaking goals for fun and City have been scoring them for fun, so you can see where we are going with this. Our star man pick is Kevin De Bruyne. He has been producing some incredible pieces of play this season and he must be a joy to play in front of. The other star man options are Gabriel Jesus, Nacer Chadli and Jay Rodriguez. We couldn’t in our right minds consider the West Brom star men over the City guys and with Aguero and Jesus both fit, Jesus isn’t guaranteed a starting XI place. To cover the rest of the City team, we have Nicolas Otamendi in defence, and then all of David Silva, Raheem Sterling and Sergio Aguero in addition to De Bruyne in attack. Our only West Brom representative is Grzegorz Krychowiak, who has picked up a couple of assists in recent weeks.
