Captaincy Analysis – FPL Gameweek 28 Tips – Fantasy Premier League Tips

Before we know it another gameweek is upon us, but before we look at this weeks captaincy analysis, here’s how last weeks picks did:

1. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – 1 point
2.  Christian Eriksen – 2 points
3. Raul Jimenez – 7 points
Differential –  Ashley Barnes – 7 points
Gamble – Mohamed Salah – 3 points

Now onto this week’s selections:

1. Mohamed Salah (WAT)

A few weeks of poor performances has meant that everyone has seemingly forgot that Salah has 17 goals and 8 assists to his name this season, more than any other player! He was invisible against Manchester United and couldn’t escape the pocket of Lindelof and Shaw, however, I think he’ll bounce back against Watford at Anfield this Wednesday. The reverse fixture saw Salah get a brace, plus Watford have only got 2 clean sheets away from home all season. Liverpool need to win with Man City only a point behind now!

2. Sergio Aguero (WHU)

Being honest, he’d be number one if he didn’t play for so long against Chelsea in the final only a few days ago. 6 goals in his last 2 games at the Etihad against a team who have only kept one clean sheet since GW15 (West Ham), so on paper, this could a be a route. However, that cup final game going the full distance might have scuppered a few plans in FPL, because Aguero playing for 120 minutes might make his likely to be being rested, but it’s Pep, absolutely no one has a clue what he’s planning!

3. Alexander Lacazette (BOU)

Whenever you own one of the Arsenal strikers, it’s usually the other one that you don’t own that seemingly scores. Two goals and one assist in the last 2 GW’s, while Aubameyang has nothing is frustrating. Arsenal take on Bournemouth at home, and they’ve got an impressive record at the Emirates, losing only once all season. Considering his form, I’d say it’s like;ynthat Lacazette will start this one, and should get on the scoresheet!

Differential – Miguel Almiron (BUR)

If you’ve seen the first Inbetweeners movie, you’ll know that Almiron looks the absolute spitting image of the kid shouting Manchester at Jay, and when I watched him play, it’s the only thing I notice. However, he was the man who have Newcastle have been crying out for all season. He’s quick, agile, and looks like he can create a few chances for the strikers, something they’ve lacked this year. He didn’t score or assist, but he looked dangerous, and if you fancy a differential, he’s your man.

Gamble – Harry Kane (CHE)

11:30, Saturday morning, did we all have the same puzzled “Huh?” when we seen Kane was starting about a month earlier than expected? Me too, because he’s absolutely screwed all of our plans that we had, because he’s a must own. He scored one but was dangerous all game and threatened to score more if it wasn’t for Tom Heaton, but this week might be tough for Spurs, as they take on Arrizabalaga’s Chelsea side, and I’m not 100% sure if he’ll start gain after playing 90 minutes straight away. It’s a big gamble, but if he starts, he can exploit that Chelsea backline.
