Captaincy Analysis – FPL Gameweek 32 Tips – Fantasy Premier League Tips

We have our biggst double gameweek of the season this weekend, so we should see some big scores this week. But before we look at this week’s captaincy analysis, here’s how last week’s picks did:

1. Saido Mane – 13 points
2.
Callum Wilson – 2 points
Differential –
  Jamie Vardy – 2 points
Gamble – Eden Hazard – 2 points

Now onto this week’s selections:

1. Sergio Aguero (FUL & CAR)

Fulham and Cardiff, One gameweek? Two of the worst sides defensively in the league, against one of the best strikers the league has ever seen? He’s scored 18 goals and assisted 9 times this season, and in the reverse fixtures, Man City scored 8 goals against the two of them, Aguero contributing in 4 of them! Sterling may be in slightly better form, but Aguero has already proven how good he can be in DGW’s (hat trick earlier this season), and has to be the number one pick for this week!

2. Eden Hazard (CAR & BHA)

A player not in good form, however, is Eden Hazard, scoring 2 and only assisting 2 in 11 weeks, disappointing for a man who is priced so highly! Chelsea take on Cardiff and Brighton this week, and I’d say Hazard is more likely than Aguero to play the full 180 minutes, making him a good option for captaincy. I feel for Cardiff, as the last time Hazard played them, he scored a hat trick, whilst also getting 13 points against Brighton!

3. Harry Kane (LIV & CRY)

Was initially Pogba, however the injuries to Lukaku and Rashford has made me doubt whether Pogba will perform well in the DGW, plus Pogba has been in relatively poor form considering how good he was when Solskjaer first took charge of United. Kane, who’s only owned by 14%, has a really good record recently, however has missed several games due to injuries. He has 3 goals in his last 4 games, and he too also has a DGW, against Liverpool and Huddersfield, which is the first game at their new stadium.

Differential – Gerard Deulofeu (MUN & FUL)

4 goals and 2 assists in his last 4 games, I’ve been really impressed of Deulofeu lately. Watford also have a DGW, taking on Man United and Fulham, more difficult games than Man City/Chelsea, however Watford have been in decent form lately. It’s a huge gamble to choose him over someone like Aguero, but if you fancy a huge risk, then go for it! Considering his form is a lot better than Hazard, and the fact he’s only owned by 5%, he’d be a fantastic option for captaincy if he can continue this fine form!

Gamble – Alexander Lacazette (NEW)

I’ve been quite lucky recently with the Arsenal striker I’ve advised to captain, because in the last, when I’ve bought one, the other one usually plays a lot better! Lacazette has been in fine form though, and has only blanked twice since GW21, scoring 6 goals and assisting three times in that time. He’s only a gamble as he is one of the few players who doesn’t have a DGW, but his form is arguably the best currently in the league, and shouldn’t be ignored because he doesn’t play twice!D
