FPL Updates Gameweek 25 – Fantasy Premier League Tips

Gameweek 24 was our second worst of the season with a rank of 4.4 million. Only 3 players returned for our 35 points but it’s was only 7 points of the 42 point average. The overall rank has taken a hit and out progress from gameweek 20 has been wiped out as we’ve dropped to 38.5k.

It was a strange week of results, especially for those at the top. However, we move on and it’s time for the first double gameweek of the season.

Guaita returned to the Palace side but conceded to Southampton. Robertson blanked for the first time this season against a side outside of the top 6. Digne had a disaster evening. Benched, brought on and swiftly sent off whilst his side kept a clean sheet. He now no longer has a double gameweek. Doherty kept a clean sheet but was denied a clear penalty.

Hazard blanked once again and hasn’t scored in 5 games as Chelsea were battered by Bournemouth. New signing Sterling was booked as his side lost to Newcastle. Pogba scored a penalty and Richarlison scored the only goal of the game but failed to pick up bonus points. Salah blanked as his side were held to a draw.

Both strikers scored 2 points but Rashford missed a glorious chance which you’d expect him to score.

Transfers: Hazard and Deeney are out for Aguero and Jota for -4. Wolves are looking great going forward and not owing one of their assets has been chipping away at me. Aguero gives us a second Man City DGW asset and is a placeholder for Aubameyang next week.

Guaita and Wan-Bissaka are up against Fulham who scored 4 after going 2-0 down. Fulham have scored in their past 6 games so it’s going to be a tough ask. Doherty travels to Everton and Robertson is away to West Ham. Neither side are in great form.

Salah faces West Ham who’ve been conceding plenty as of late. Fabianski stopped the 3-0 loss against Wolves from becoming embarrassing. Richarlison has Wolves and Man City for his double gameweek. I’m hoping he can get his returns against Wolves and the latter game is a bonus. Pogba faces Leicester and has returned in 6 of his last 7 games. Jota is up against Everton and is playing up front for his side. Sterling is our second DGW player facing Arsenal at home before Everton on Wednesday night.

Rashford looks to bounce back from his blank against Leicester. Aguero rounds out the side. He’s in the side for either 1 or 2 gameweeks before becoming a certain Arsenal forward.

Captaincy: It’s got to be one of the Man City boys. I feel Sterling is more likely to play both with the in form Jesus possibly stealing some minutes off Aguero. If I’m 50/50 I’ll usually go with the midfielder.
