FA Cup Fantasy Football – Mondogoal

This week sees the absence of the Premier League football, and more importantly a lack of fantasy football! Therefore, this week we have teamed up with Mondogoal and submersing ourselves into FA CUP fantasy football!

This week sees us enter into one of Mondogoal’s FA Cup fourth round only cash leagues! It is a perfect breakaway from the usual Fantasy Premier League and not only do Mondogoal offer free leagues, they also offer a variety of cash leagues, with ranging cash prizes! If you choose to enter a cash league, Mondogoal pay out to the top 3 finishers in that league, so come and join us!

Anyway, here is our current line-up for the FA Cup round four cash league:

Mondogoal

Defence

With West Ham facing Bristol City this round, we have stuck Adrian in between the sticks after his heroics, scoring the winning penalty against Everton. In front of him we play a back three, starting with David Wheater, as we couldn’t resist not having an underdog in the team and we hope for some FA Cup magic, as Bolton face Liverpool. We then play Eliaquim Mangala who should be able to assist Manchester City in moving into the next round of the FA Cup as they face Middlesbrough.

Midfield

In the middle of the park we start with Ander Herrera. As Manchester United face Cambridge United, we expect to see the Spaniard impressing again after he scored against Yeovil in the third round. We then start James Milner who managed to grab two goals in the previous round, and we fancy him to grab some more this round against Middlesbrough. Our third midfielder is James Morrison who managed to get on the score sheet in the last round, hopefully he can do this again this round! Our final midfielder is Mark Noble, who we fancy to play a big part against Bristol City.

Strikers

Up top we start a trio consisting of; Sergio Aguero, Christian Benteke and Radamel Falcao, who face Middlesbrough, Bournemouth and Cambridge United respectively. Sergio Aguero – Need we say much more here? Back from an injury and looking to get back in and amongst the goals, there seems no better opportunity to bag some more goals than here! Meanwhile, Benteke and Falcao will both be looking to find their clinical goal scoring form which they seem to have lost. Hopefully all will bag a goal or two and propel us to a cash prize this week!
