FPL Updates Gameweek 23 – Fantasy Premier League Tips

GW22 wasn’t a bad week as we saw the tiniest of green arrows up 450 places to 25.4k. 63 points and a double digit captain haul was enough to maintain ranks However, the side suffered 2 big injures along with Son leaving for the Asian Cup. Our transfer this week was a bit of a disaster selling Fabianski (9) for Guaita (1).

FPL Updates XI Gameweek 22 Points

New signing Guaita started off very poorly after getting injured and being subbed after 45 minutes with his clean sheet intact. The rest of the backline all returned in some sort of way. Wan-Bissaka picked up 3 bonus points without contributing any fantasy return. TAA kept clean sheet even though he injured himself in the warm up. Finally Digne assisted and clean up with bonus points for a dozen points.

Richarlison and Son both blanked in the midfield. Hazard and Pogba both grabbed assists. Salah won another penalty and slotted home in a 1-0 win. He surprisingly picked up all bonus points for his 22 points as skipper.

Kane blanked in front of goal even though he had 4 shots on target. Mainly down to De Gea’s brilliance but his finishing could’ve been better. Kane picked up another ankle injury right at the death and looks to be out till March. Deeney also blanked with his side scoring twice.

Transfers: We’ve got 2FTs and 4 injured or ruled out players. Kane leaves for the inform Rashford whose got fantastic fixtures. Son is a straight swap for Alli due to his upcoming fixtures. TAA is gone for Robertson and long term I’m happy to have the Scotsman. 4 points spent with £3.9m in the bank.

I’ve also left enough ITB to potentially upgrade Deeney to Firmino next week.

FPL Updates XI Gameweek 23 Line-up

Speroni gets a lucky start with Guaita and Hennessy both injured. Doherty embarks on a strong set of fixtures till March against Leicester. Digne travels to Southampton while new signing Robertson faces Crystal Palace at Anfield.

Hazard’s past few games have been quite a let down but whilst I have plenty of issues to deal with he stays against a poor Arsenal defence. Likewise with Richarlison, he’s great fixtures but struggling with form and I haven’t unlimited transfers. Pogba and Salah both have juicy home ties and are in great form. Alli travels to Fulham and will be vital with 2 key players out.

Rashford is in for the Manchester United double up while Deeney has at least one more week in the team against struggling Burnley.

Captain: Keeping it simple with Salah. He’s got the form and a good fixture. Palace’s 3rd choice keeper Speroni is in net which should bode well. A united attacker was tempting but I’m keeping in the Egyptian.
