Bayli Spencer-Adams – Fantasy Football Potential

Watford have signed Bayli Spencer-Adams on a free transfer as the youngster was released by Arsenal last month. The 18 year old, who plays at centre back, has signed a one year deal with the option to extend this for a further 12 months.

Here’s what Spencer-Adams has had to say about his move to the Hornets:

“Watford is a really great club that pushed for Europe and got to a cup final last season, as well as playing a lot of young players, so it’s good to get this opportunity with a Premier League club.”

Player History

Spencer-Adams was released by Arsenal earlier this year, however he has also played for both Tottenham and West Ham. Last season he played 13 fixtures for Arsenal in the U18’s Premier League, keeping 4 clean sheets and picking up an assist in a fixture against Norwich under-18’s. During the 2017/18 season he featured 12 times, keeping 6 clean sheets.

Fantasy Football Potential

Spencer-Adams will be joining the Hornet’s under-23’s for the 2019/20 Premier League season and clearly has potential for the future. That said, it’s highly unlikely that he will feature in the Premier League this season and Spencer- Adams is aware of this having said that his; “My target this year is to hopefully train regularly with the first-team and maybe make a few appearances on the bench, and eventually I’d like to break into the first-team”
