Differential Picks – FPL Gameweek 18 Tips – Fantasy Premier League Tips

Gameweek 18 is nearly upon us and comes with that another episode of the Differential Picks – Here’s our picks for gameweek 18:

ROBERT SNODGRASS – £5.4m – TSB: 3.2% – Watford (H)

An increasingly tempting option has emerged recently in the form of West Ham’s Robert Snodgrass. With all eyes on teammate Felipe Anderson, Snodgrass has been slowly turning heads with 5 returns in his last four appearances. Snodgrass is £2m cheaper than Anderson and has bettered him over the past few gameweeks. Snodgrass has exceeded Anderson in crosses and key passes, and has been only second to Eden Hazard in attempted assists among midfielders with 10. West Ham have a cracking upcoming fixture list and face off against Watford this weekend.

MARCUS RASHFORD – £6.9m – TSB: 9.4% – Cardiff (A)

All the talk has been of Manchester United this week, with the news of Jose Mourinho’s departure. Mourinho leaves just as United begin a run of four tempting fixtures against Cardiff, Huddersfield, Bournemouth and Newcastle. Romelu Lukaku is reportedly out of Manchester United’s next couple of fixtures on compassionate leave, giving Marcus Rashford the opportunity to impress new boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and cement his position up top for the Red Devils. Rashford has a goal and 4 assists in his last four appearances for the club and United may immediately reap the benefits from a fresh face in the dugout.

DANNY INGS – £5.5m – TSB: 4.9% – Huddersfield (A)

Southampton turned heads by ending Arsenal’s long unbeaten streak last weekend. Danny Ings made all the difference with 2 first half goals as the Saints downed the Gunners 3-2. Ings was a budget favourite earlier in the season but has been struggling with injury as of late. His return may be the spark new manager Ralph Hasenhüttl needs to get Southampton moving in the right direction ahead of the weekend’s game against Huddersfield.

JOSE HOLEBAS – £4.7m – TSB: 12.0% – West Ham (A)

Jose Holebas is a great fantasy asset if picked at the right time. Holebas has managed 3 goals and 4 assists already this season, five of those returns coming in the first four gameweeks of the season. It might be time to pick the full-back back up with the similarly priced Trent Alexander-Arnold injured ahead of a busy Christmas schedule. Watford face only Chelsea of the top six in their next six games so boast clean sheet potential, with Holebas on set-pieces and averaging 8 crosses per 90 minutes ahead of a good fixture run. He’s slightly over the 10% TSB mark, but last week’s differential picks didn’t make it out so he creeps in this time instead.

DELE ALLI – £8.9m – TSB: 3.6% – Everton (A)

Like many Tottenham midfielders, Dele Alli has had a somewhat stop start season so far, missing games with injury and only managing 3 goals and 2 assists this campaign. However, Alli has now started five of the last six league games, where he has picked up three of his attacking returns and scored a goal in midweek at North London rivals Arsenal. Fantasy managers could profit by picking up Alli as he appears to be hitting form ahead of winnable games against Everton, Bournemouth, Wolves and Cardiff.
